Thank you so much, I really appreciate it.

i like your maps, they are getting better and better.
Andi  [skapare] 11 jun, 2016 @ 23:23
Thanks. I like this version better because most of the elements that are useless have been taken out. Thanks for testing.
jandlml 11 jun, 2016 @ 16:38
like a womans scorn.haha much simpler than the first one.

Couldn't make a video, but here's a demo of my solution. https://www.dropbox.com/s/xkfzlditzlm181i/hhnf_rv.dem?dl=0

Ooh! Let me know if that ever happens--I'd be happy to run it again. In the meantime, maybe I'll make a video of my solution so you'll know what I mean.

I may revisit this chamber one more time. I have an idea to make it even more steamlined and more compact. Thanks for testing. :)
GBMusicMaster 22 sep, 2015 @ 6:22
A good variant of the original! Much more streamlined overall. However, I found that I used the exact same strategy to escape as I did in the first one. I never needed the faith plates. My only wish was that there weren't quite so much walking this time around. :) Thumbs up!

Thanks, I'm GLaD you liked it.

My first stay in the Portal 'verse years ago, the jump-grab maneuver was considered "ninja" or an exploit because it shouldn't be possible to do ... Now I find it's a required step in some puzzles and not considered particularly difficult or unusual. Actually the quick and accurate shooting I found more demanding in this one ... and learning what was needed to open the path for the laser, which was not obvious.

This one was excellent and not at all easy, but after playing Landlocked and Quantum Dynamics this felt like a bit of a mental vacation!
Andi  [skapare] 2 sep, 2014 @ 12:36
Me too. This one is more open and straight forward.
The Sojourner 31 aug, 2014 @ 22:39
I liked this one better than its predecessor too; felt easier, even though I didn't like the beginning....

I like this one better than it's predecessor. GLaD that you liked it too.

Thank you.

really good the end part of this one!!!
Andi  [skapare] 11 jan, 2014 @ 7:26
You're right, the companion cube is very hidded in this one. Right again, I don't consider myself a Portal Ninja but I try to make it a challeging as possible. I'm still working on your last chamber... it's a tough one... but I'm having fun with it.
stormsend 10 jan, 2014 @ 23:19
You got me at the end. I had to go exploring to find the exit strategy. I never ran across the companion cube and went in specificly looking. It's hidden good. As always, Great map. Some tricky maneuvers but I wouldn't say ninja. Very good design. Looks great. Thank you.

Thanks for the compliment. I will admit, I tend to build them big and this chamber has a lot of unused space, maybe the most wasted space of any of my chambers but it's a stripped down version of the original. The original used more of the space... except in the first room which remained the same.

I didn't play the first version, maybe that's why I was a bit confused about what the pedestal button did until I saw the video. And again, I've got the same feeling about your maps - great puzzles and challenges, but in too big chambers.

I can post one for you. I can have it up by tomorrow.
Gnobel 14 nov, 2012 @ 10:00
I finished this puzzle aswell I enjoyed it, thx man. Do you guys have some demos or vid, so I know if I did it the right way?
Andi  [skapare] 14 nov, 2012 @ 8:11
Glad you enjoyed it. Congratulations on finding the companion cube. It's not easy to find in this puzzle.
Aardvark00 14 nov, 2012 @ 8:04
What an excellent puzzle! This took me about an hour to solve, but in the process of trying to find a back way past the fizzlers I discovered your companion cube instead :D
Andi  [skapare] 28 okt, 2012 @ 1:32
I'll be happy to give it a try.
PlatonicSolid 27 okt, 2012 @ 20:13
OK, I went back and found it. Yes, it is very well hidden.

It's there.... hidden very well.
PlatonicSolid 24 okt, 2012 @ 16:42
I did not find (or think to look for) a hidden companion cube. I'll have to go back and find it.
Andi  [skapare] 21 okt, 2012 @ 13:30
Thank you very much, I appreciate your kind comments. Just out of curiosity, did you find the companion cube? I hide one in every map I make as a sort of side mission.
PlatonicSolid 21 okt, 2012 @ 8:00
That would be cheating. Plus I finally got it!!!! Holy (expletive) that was a challenge. Pressure is really ON at the end to do everything exactly right. Very impressive puzzle and structurally appealing design.
Andi  [skapare] 20 okt, 2012 @ 22:07
I'll post a video of the solution as soon as I can. Check back in a day or so.
PlatonicSolid 20 okt, 2012 @ 15:30
Dang. I guess this one's just over my head then :(
Andi  [skapare] 20 okt, 2012 @ 15:11
Thank you for your comment.
Innocentive 20 okt, 2012 @ 9:43
Yes, this one is challenging but there's only one major part that is execution based. The rest is mere puzzle solving ... loved this chamber, Andi. It is stripped down to the core elements. Very well done!
Andi  [skapare] 19 okt, 2012 @ 23:40
I did indeed test it. I was able to complete it but it's a chalange.
toncica 19 okt, 2012 @ 18:33
It's working. You need to know what the pedestal button does, and you have to be able to shoot portals precisely from a distance.
PlatonicSolid 19 okt, 2012 @ 16:53
Tried - Failed. I'm stumped. Have you thoroughly tested it?
