Changes! Some small, some not small.

First and foremost is a new route to A that branches of from T Stairs. This new area has been designated squeaky for now, and has the accompanying door. Also some new props scattered throughout the map. There are probably a few small changes that I've missed, but I'll try to detail them all.

Changes:

T-Stairs

  • Top of T-Stairs changed - small angles added for some grenade throws.
  • New route added throw a new room added to the side of T-Stairs

A Site
  • Ceiling decoration
  • Tables and chairs
  • Changed the blocking wall from CT spawn to prevent a really long sniper, advantageous angle.

B Site
  • Some small navmesh improvements
  • Temporary railing props
  • Fixed dark lighting under catwalk
  • Fixed ability to throw bomb into rocket engines. (Although players could get in there, it requires a boost, so they've been clipped off)

Vents
  • Lightsticks (woo, it's a rave!)


Known-Issues
  • Bomb can be thrown into ceiling decoration on A. This will be clipped off shortly.

Largish layout changes!

The layout of B bombsite has been changed rather heavily to support better gameplay. A large amount of thanks to Bourboneer for suggesting this new layout.

T-Stairs onto A have been changed to make it easier to approach.

Changes:

A Site

  • T-Stairs changed. Hallway added before the bombsite with the stairs connecting to the far end.

B Site
  • Bombsite reworked to provide better cover for both sides

A Site

  • Completely reworked to change layout.

B Site
  • Enlarged the playing area, shifted the bomb site back slightly.
  • Added some detailing to rocket.

General
  • Walkways changed to support new changes.
  • Skybox work started, still able to see through to some (non-gameplay-affecting) areas.

Mid
  • Some simple detailing added

This update changes up some lackluster spots on the map, nothing huge, but hopefully worthwhile. Thanks to rqAUOpiulukjhg, traqqi and Bourboneer for their extremely helpful feedback!

Changes:

A Site

  • Two of the recessed areas have been removed.
  • The two remaining recessed areas have been shallowed up a bit
  • Cover on the site has been changed to be cleaner

B Site
  • Blocked off the back of the site
  • Added geometry to prevent sniping from back of vents to top of cat

General
  • All display cases have had player clipping added to prevent climbing into them

Cat
  • Stairs callout renamed to stairwell (was originally part of Catwalk callout)
  • Added some protruding elements from the wall around the window to enable pushes down cat

  • Staircase added to increase access to balcony
  • Added cover around bombsite

B Site
  • Added cover around bombsite

T Spawn
  • Moved closer to A site to help make the main A route more useable

CT Spawn
  • Moved slightly closer to mid to counter T's closer proximity to mid

Cat
  • Lowered to reduce distance required to travel (stairs)
  • Window width reduced

Long Hallway - T --> A
  • Made straighter, shorter
  • Added light detailing

Main Hall - T --> B
  • Reduced clutter
