FTL: Faster Than Light is "a Spaceship Simulation Real-Time Roguelike-like" developed by Subset Games. The game is real-time with an underlying "turn-based" mechanics and an ability to pause the game at any moment. Each game is permadeath (when your ship is destroyed, it's game over). The game worlds and the events in the game are randomly generated each time. The different options, playstyles, strategies, achievements, other unlockables and the randomness ensure no game will be the same.
