Strafe is a genre that's in my wheelhouse: the roguelite FPS genre. If you're thinking "wait, I think I've heard this before", you have. I'm consistent. Just like Strafe is! It's very consistent! Now you're probably saying to yourself: "wait, shouldn't games with a roguelite tag not be consistent, and have a lot of variety?" And you'd be correct. For all the goofiness of the trailer FMVs and the idea of destroying things with a variety of guns, Strafe forgot something. Something important. Something that you sort of need for a game like this. What is it? Well, you probably should watch the video. I mean, that's what I'm here for. To tell you if the game is worth your time. I mean, that's the whole meaning for this channel to exist.
