Hunter 101 is a video series designed to acquaint the beginner hunter with various aspects of Call of the Wild which they may find overwhelming, or just plain aren't explained within the game, with topics such as the UI, store, Skills and Perks system, and how each weapon works will be covered in addition to numerous others.

Episode 1 - UI Basics

This episode covers UI basics, including valuable information about your HUD and other various UI bits and bobs.

Episode 2 - Store and Inventory

This episode covers the in-game store and inventory management system: where to find it, how it
works, how to purchase items, and what to do with them once you've put them into your inventory.

Episode 3 - Skill and Perk System

This three-part episode will cover, in detail the Skill and Perk point system, including how you get your points, where to spend them, what each tree does, the difference between passive and active skills/perks, and an in-depth explanation of what each skill/perk does and whether they're worth putting points into.

Part 3 - Perk Trees

Episode 4 - Rifles

Episode 4 focuses on the rifles that are currently available in the game; how to use them, their nuances, what animals they give an integrity bonus to, and how to best utilize them.

Episode 5 - Shotguns

In this installment of Hunter 101, I'll be going over the two shotguns that are currently in the game, as well as the ammo that's allowed with them and the sights that they can use.

Episode 6 - Bows

This episode will cover the three bows available for use in the game, as well as their accessories and how to get the most use out of them!

Episode 7 - Handguns

We'll be covering the three handguns that can be used in Call of the Wild, as well as their related ammunition and sights.

It's a very fun game, Lily! It has a few bugs here and there, but ultimately it's a great time waster and even if you don't kill a single animal it's a wonderful walking simulator.

If you hit P (default) while in-game, it will bring up your camera. Any pictures you take will be taken without any UI elements and will be stored with the rest of your Steam screenshots.

I really like making screenshots, but I still do not know how to completely remove the hud from this game ... could you help me?

Thank you, Torg! Video links have all been corrected; evidently you cannot use the 'share now' link that Youtube provides, you have to use the link direct from the browser.

And I could have sworn the guide had the Gameplay Basics tag on it; this has been corrected as well. Good catches!

There is an error with the Episode 4 - Rifles. The video is not running. I do not know if the link is bad.
