This is a simple mod that changes pixels into fabulous golden rupees, because why have green, blue, or red rupees when you can make bank and get golden rupees?

(the secret is that they're actually only painted to look golden.. but shhhh)


This mod has no screenshots as I don't necessarily play a lot of Starbound now-a-days, and my mods list is too funky and clunky to trust launching Starbound to get some pictures. However, assuming the system HAS NOT changed from 1.1 or 1.2 or so, then there shouldn't be a problem in-game. If there is, let me know ASAP. Thank you, and enjoy.

As far as I'm aware there's unfortunately no way to make them change color. Believe me, I tried to make a mod that'd make them drop as red, blue, or green. It's a shame.

hay i thout of aomthing i wanted to get one of this ruby mods but could not chose one so i thout of this why not make a mode that makes tham chang color evrey couple of minunts

All of my rupee mods have the rupee sfx, no worries there!

Lol. I agree. It's much cooler collecting the Rupees now rather than just the classic pixels. Does it also use the Rupee SFX too or is it just the spirte change. (just downloaded it at the time of writing this but haven't started up the game yet). Still great tho.

Thank you! I use the draconis race mod and now I can start hoarding real treasure rather than weird cheese cubes!
