is this mod still working?

so it was an old chunk of code no longer being used.
still i'm find with not having a pet on my ship, makes things less cluttered and i'v already found a work around but still hopefully this will work out.

the main mod's author has been MIA since 1.2 afaik

the pet stopped showing up because on the 1.2 or 1.3 update a pet script has been removed (the one that controls hunger and would have the pet eat what was in the pet bowl (which was also removed)), but some old, outdated pets still have it in their config - and loading a non-existing script generates an error

the SAIL panel object has a script that (re)spawns the pet whenever it's not here, and if it gets an error running this script it stops and break everything else SAIL-related

any idea why the pet stopped showing up to begin with?
maybe relay the info to the main mod patch it up.
