before we get into what bosses need to die before you can kill the moon lord, im just going to let you know that if your playing a character that has been used to kill strong bosses and has good items, your all ready, good for you! if you haven't made a character like that then the best way to put it is: your doomed, simple as that


anyways, here are the bosses you need to fight, kill each boss specificly in the order I mention them,

first you will want to go to the underworld and kill the wall of flesh, thus putting the world into hardmode, after this you will have to worry about wraiths and other hardmode enemies,

when your world is in hardmode you can kill Destroyer, skeletron prime, and the twins (they all have to be summoned at the same time)

once those three are dead, it will say in the chat: The Jungle grows restless, this is a big red flag (not literally) that the jungle is in hardmode and that plantera volts will appear, they look like this:


after that, it will say in the chat: Screams are echoing from the dungeon, now you are getting close to the moon lord battle, the next step is to wait until cultistis appear at the dungeon, from this point on enter the dungeon with caution, and get rid of you minions, once the cultists appear kill them, after that, a lunatic cultist will appear and attack you using some wierd attacks

once you kill him, celestial creatures known as the pillars will invade, killing them will summon the moon lord

use celestial sigils to summon it again

the moon lord despawns as soon as all players in the game are dead at the same time,
having multiple people in the fight makes the fight last longer.


Having a nurse at home allows you to teleport home (with a magic mirror/ cell phone) and heal during the battle


If you don't have a nurse, this is the best thing to do, because that way you can heal and give yourself buffs at will
