Description
This one was requested a lot, I guess you guys have nostalgia for renting movies. Or when you saw this strip mall collection you immediately thought "Blockbusters used to be in every shopping plaza!" Blockbuster Video was a movie and game rental service that started in Dallas, Texas in 1985 and was headquartered in Meridian, Colorado. They had their peak in 2004. Faster movie services brought the company down then was finally bought by Dish Network. Nowadays there are about 50 Blockbuster locations still living strong I hope. At least new virtual Blockbuster stores will be opening if you subscribe and use.

Oh yeah, I remember these. There used to be one in my town that I would go to to rent movies and video games to see if they were worth buying. It closed down years ago though, and I now have unlimited movie and TV content with Netflix, and YouTube to see if games are worth buying.

@◎ I remember around 2004 being 7 back when I would go to get a game from there once a year or so. those were the good old days, we did not even mind, we were happy and exited to go there. but now those days are gone.

@◎: I remember it! I was just a young kid working as a clerk in the mail & shipping dept of the Intl corporate headquarters of Waste Mgmt, Inc in Oak Brook, Illinois a company co-founded by Wayne Huizenga WHO was also a co-founder of Blockbuster. I remember all 30 of us guys in that dept were given a chance to buy stock in the company before it went public but I had no money back then. Wayne was touted as a man with the Midas Touch so a couple of my friends confidently bought in and BOY did they earn a return on their investment within the next few years! Blockbuster was the "SHIT" through the 90's, Wayne got out before it's viability waned in the 2000's.
