Oh I'm so glad you shared this! There is a way to get true full-screen with this game without downloading external mods that aren't needed! I had to disable my Dynamic Super Resolution setting first though, under 3D settings. Then I was able to make the change needed to set my actual desktop resolution to match 1569x1080 (heh nice.) And bobs your uncle. I was able to get rid of the borders. Thank you!

I was gonna try this but I cant even hit the adapt button in Nvidia's controll panel T.T

Hey Kosmos, I checked and did the steps from my Video again and everything works great. Please make sure that you have a 1920x1080 display, that you can set to 1569x1080. Apply this resolution, choose it in your FFIX Launcher, untick Windowed and it should work fine. If you cant see the 1569x1080 resolution in your FFIX Launcher, then you need to restart your device.

Hi, I recently tried this but instead of silver borders, I just get black borders now. I followed the video exactly.

If you set your display resolution to 1569x1080, then your Steam overlay should be the same (a bit stretched). Maybe your Graphics driver force change the resolution. You need to uncheck everything that could force your resolution (for example auto fullscreen for games). If nothing helps of these options, I'll try to find more solutions.

But I discovered a problem: whenever you alt+tab or press shift+tab to open the Steam menù, the game returns to the default resolution of your screen. Do you know a way to get around this?
