HOW TO CHECK PING PRECISELY W/ MLGA ADDON

Here is the tutorial on installing and setting up the software MLGA which was allowed by developpers.
MLGA was allowed by developpers of the game + EAC so there WON'T be any ban for using it.

The software doesn't seem to be harming your computer

#1 REQUIREMENTS

Here is the list of softwares you need to download / install in order to run MLGA properly.

- MLGA (which is not a program you have to install but an executable file you'll need to run)
- Latest JAVA RUNTIME (if not already)
- NpCap (which will make the executable file display to your screen, if you don't use this software it may not work)

- Latest JAVA RUNTIME

- NpCap
https://nmap.org/npcap/

Once you made it into this website just scroll down until you reach the DOWNLOAD SECTION

Once everything is downloaded go to next section |..|..|

#2 INSTALLING NpCap PROPERLY

FOLLOW THESE STEPS CAREFULLY

If you want to make sure it is not a virus check the "SECURITY ISSUES" section

1) Go to your download folder (or anywhere else you saved the NpCap Installer. By default it's the Download one)

2) Run "npcap-0.86"

3) Press "I AGREE"

4) Select the same things as seen in image below

The installation will proceed don't mind all the cmd windows opening and closing it's part of the setup.

When installation is completed, click finish and go to next step.

#3 RUNNING MLGA

NOW EVERYTHING SHOULD BE INSTALLED PROPERLY.

Look for the executable file called MLGA

Place it somewhere on your desktop (or not) and double-click on it.

This should pop-up
(hopefully your local ip is already typed in)
(if not, make sure you have succesfully installed NpCap)

Press START and the window should close and something must appear on your screen.

MLGA is now running properly

#3.1 SWITCH KILLER / SURVIVOR MODE

ONE STEP TO SWITCH FROM SURVIVOR / KILLER MODE

All you have to do is right click once on the menu which came when you pressed START
(see at #3)

Now you switched to killer's mode which makes you able to see all survivors ping
(it will display the ping of all survivors who are still in lobby / or / Spectacting)

Repeat the same task in order to go back to survivor mode

#3.2 CLOSE THE PROGRAM

TO CLOSE THE PROGRAM YOU NEED TO KILL THE TASK

Open your " Task Manager " by pressing CTRL + ALT + DEL and choose TASK MANAGER

You can instantly pop-up the Task Manager by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + ESC

Once you opened it, look for a program with the logo of jake's head
(Yes Jake, the character of DBD)
Select it by left clicking on it and select end task at bottom right

Don't mind the fact that stuff is written in french

You have now turned of MLGA.

YOU CAN ALSO SIMPLY LOOK FOR JAKE'S HEAD AT THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF YOUR SCREEN

- Then, all you have to do is right click on the icon and select " exit "

#? SECURITY ISSUES

You may not trust this software and i encourage you to do so when facing programs you never heard about.

Although, i want you to be sure that THIS ONE is safe (only download from links i provided to be sure that you have the ORIGINAL version of the software.

ALSO, i've scanned all files with AVAST and it come out as safe :

We are working on our own ping / block tool but for now, we confirmed with EAC that no bans would be issued for the use of that addon. That's it, you have just installed your first 3rd party software for DBD (hopefully you never try to install any other but then it won't be my fault if you get banned uh ^^)

Get into a lobby and try it out.

dedicated servers??
pls mate dedicated servers are crap
the only thing that actually changed in dedicated servers is the indicated ping in lobby, so yes now every russian trash killer who normally would be shown at 120 ms has now 30 ms, i still can tell by the way of these hitboxes from where the killer is :D
so yeah i can tell if someone is russian by the way he hits me even tho we have dedicated server
dedicated server do nothing to make a hold to this shitboxes steam had to bann every russian shit internet person, then we finally had dedicated server
