Zombicide Black Plague - Abominotaur

Beskrivning
This one took me a long time to paint and 3D scan, I hope you guys enjoy it!

This is the Minotaur Abomination (A.K.A. Abominotaur ) from Zombicide Black Plague Zombie Bosses expansion.
Sorry his glossy blood and metal armor dont look great in TTS... that is a hard thing to fix, 3D scanning does not capture the specularity of materials.

I might end up selling this beast along with the other painted zombie bosses in order to get enough money to back the Kickstarter for Zombicide Green Horde later this month. Maybe i will be able to paint and scan that game too :D

use 3d coat if you can for cleaning etc. great software for retopo / voxel / polygon modeling, texturing...
i used maya, 3d coat, syntheyes, photoscan and photoshop for the minis for kingdom death monster. and used my phone for recording and lazy susan for rotating miniature.

@kruger40k Thanks so much for the info. It confirms to me that Photogrammetry is the right method. Will be building a special scanning booth and using a DSLR camera for the photos. Keep up the great work!

@Paragon04 - I use my phone and 3D scan using photogrammetry... The reason my scans turn out good is because the time i take to edit the dense point cloud before generating the model. I spend a lot of time cleaning up the point cloud and also taking my model into blender and doing some final model tweaking.

Hey Kruger what do you use for scanning them in, I'm currently looking at a project to scan in some miniatures into TTS but beyond CRAZY expensive 3d Scanners it seems like photogrammetry is the best option. I'd REALLY appreciate your opinion because the model work and scan quality is amazing!

Updated the tone of the texture to more accuratly represent the original colors before the 3D scan washed the colors out,
