Tips
Hold [Attack keybind] for a charged Melee attack.
Switch to your ranged weapon by pressing the [Weapon Quick Swap keybind] button.
Dodge enemy attacks by pressing [Jump/Dodge keybind] while moving backwards or to the sides.
Press [Ping keybind] to tag items/enemies.
Press [Inspect Weapon keybind] to inspect your weapon.
Press [Inspect Character keybind] to inspect your hero.
You have three equipment slots: Engineer, Magic and Mundane.
Grenades are scarce but a great asset when combined with large packs of Skaven!
The Potion of Strength will increase your melee damage output for a limited time.
The Potion of Speed will increase your attack and movement speed for a limited time.
Enemies will be alerted to your presence if you make a lot of noise or come close enough.
Pushing enemies will force them to focus their attention towards you.
Pushing enemies is very effective when you are surrounded.
When fatigued, you can't use Push or Block.
Veteran tip: Don't get surrounded.
Some projectiles may penetrate several enemies.
It doesn't take a Nuln Engineer to figure this one out, but avoid taking damage whilst carrying explosive barrels.
Be careful when casting spells. Overuse the Winds of Magic and you will become Overcharged and explode!
Sienna Fuegonasus is a Battle Wizard. Don't provoke her.
When you have completed your Mission Objective, look for Olesya. She's your getaway driver.
Olesya is your getaway driver. She'll be waiting for you as soon as you've completed your mission.
Tomes can be found throughout Missions. A Tome will take up your Mundane Equipment Slot, but grants you an additional Gold Loot Die upon completing the Mission.
You will be awarded with better equipment for completing missions at higher difficulties.
Playing on Nightmare or Cataclysm enables friendly fire. Allies will take damage when you hit them with ranged weapons and explosives.
There are vote-kick functions in the Player List Menu.
Use heavy weapons or go for the head when facing armoured enemies.
Stormvermin are heavily armoured. Use armour piercing attacks or aim for the head to defeat them.
If a Ratling gunner targets you, run for cover and let your allies deal with him.
Ratling Gunners will damage anyone between them and their target.
Beware the Poison Wind of the Globadiers.
Poison Wind will disorient and damage everyone within its area of effect, including the Skaven.
Gutter Runners will pounce on heroes when they least expect it. It's dangerous to go alone.
When a Gutter Runner leaps at you, either dodge or push at the right moment to negate his attack.
Gutter Runners employ smoke bombs to mask their escape. Make sure they are dead before moving on.
The Packmaster will drag you away from your allies. Take him out quickly!
Kill the Pack Master quickly, before someone is captured and left hanging on his polearm.
Successfully blocking the attack of a Rat Ogre negates the damage but drains all stamina.
Use a well timed Dodge to avoid the Rat Ogre's attack.
If you see a Sack Rat, ignore the plight of the rest of your team and greedily charge for it. Extra loot awaits!
Stay together or die alone.
Salvaging equipment in the Forge will grant you Upgrade Tokens.
Use Crafting Tokens to unlock Weapon Traits.
Collect Endurance Badges in Last Stand mode to earn Experience and Crafting Tokens.
Friendly Fire is disabled in Last Stand mode.
Keep a look out for regular Supply Drops in Last Stand Mode.
A Resupply Cache will be available at specific points during Last Stand Mode.
Defeat 13 Waves on Veteran Difficulty to unlock Champion difficulty in Last Stand.
Defeat 13 Waves on Champion Difficulty to unlock Heroic difficulty in Last Stand.
Facts (Lore)
Medical Supplies include scraps of fabric suitable to serve as bandages, poultices, splints, and the sorts of foul-smelling ointments available to a village wise woman.
A Healing Draught is a mundane tonic made of healing herbs like Spiderleaf and Sylra's Touch.
A Potion is a magical liquid, contrary to the mundane Healing Draught.
The difference between Potions and Draughts is that magic is required to brew Potions, while Draughts can be prepared using mundane means.
The Potion of Strength is made from the powdered arm-bones of a Giant and the simmering blood of a Bog Octopus.
The Incindiary Bomb is yet another marvel of Imperial technology. Use it well.
Hagbane Arrows are tipped with the tainted shards known in Athel Loren as the Callach's Claws. They are as deadly as their namesake's touch - even a scratch can prove fatal if the venom settles in the target's blood.
Arcane Bodkin arrows are ensorcelled to pierce armour like a knife through butter.
Trueflight Arrows have a rudimentary sentience buried deep within them, an awareness that causes them to seek the target unbidden.
Sergeant Kruber has served in both the wealthiest (Reikland) and one of the poorest (Ostland) of the Empire's provinces.
Markus Kruber is temporarily employed by Victor Saltzpyre.
Sienna Fuegonasus arrived in Ubersreik as the prisoner of Victor Saltzpyre.
Bardin Goreksson is looking for something. What could it be?
Why does Kerillian walk the land of men? Wood Elves rarely leave Athel Loren.
Athel Loren is the home of the Wood Elves.
Olesya's Wagon is drawn by two Shadowsteeds.They are the product of powerful Grey Magic, courtesy of Cristoph Engel, Master Wizard of Ubersreik.
The Grey Wizard Cristoph Engel has the rank of Master Wizard and is the foremost of his kind in Ubersreik.
Grey Order Magic deals extensively with shadows and illusions.
There are eight Winds of Magic. They are represented by the Orders of Amber, Amethyst, Bright, Celestial, Gold, Grey, Jade and Light Magic.
The Bright Order specialises in the magic of flames, fire and passion.
Bright Wizards are affiliated with the Bright College and practice the lore of Fire.
Thyrus Gormann is the Patriarch of the Bright Order. He was until recently the Supreme Patriarch, leader of all Magic Orders, until he was defeated in a duel with Balthasar Gelt of the Gold Order.
Witch Hunters belong to the Holy Order of the Templars of Sigmar. The Order was founded by Wolfgart Krieger, who was tasked by Sigmar himself to defend his realm against all forms of magic.
Sigmar Heldenhammer is the founder of the Empire and rose to power as a warlord of the Unberogen tribe.
Sigmar is the patron god of The Empire. His sign is a twin tailed comet.
Ghal Maraz is the legendary hammer of Sigmar and a symbol of the Empire.
The river Reik is the Empire's principal trade route, and travel by riverboat is often faster and less dangerous than on roads. However, piracy is common enough to warrant shipsword patrols, and sometimes dangerous creatures swim downriver from the far-off sea.
Stretching from the World's Edge Mountains to the Sea of Claws, the Reik is the Old World's longest river.
Flowing through the Reikland, the river Reik is deep enough to accommodate galleons from Marienburg and Ulthuan, and is so wide that virtually no bridge can span it, save the wondrous Great Bridge at Nuln.
Kemperbad is a wealthy Freistadt at the confluence of the River Reik and the River Stir.
People from all over the world are drawn to Reikland, the Empire's richest province.
Ubersreik is a medium sized town in southern Reikland, situated on the River Teufel, not far from the base of the Grey Mountains.
Altdorf, Bögenhafen, Schilderheim and Dunkelberg are other major Reikland cities.
Even amongst cartographers in Altdorf, Stromdorf is playfully called Stormdorf due to it's widely known bad weather. The name slipped through on maps which were sold on the open market from time to time.
The bridge over the river Teufel was built by dwarfs. Persistent rumours speak of a treasure hidden within it.
Magnus' Tower is the tallest structure in Ubersreik and was commissioned by Emperor Magnus the Pious.
The statue of Emperor Magnus the Pious in Ubersreik commemorates his role in rebuilding the town after the Great War Against Chaos.
Emperor Karl Franz I, Elector Count and Grand Prince of Reikland, Prince of Altdorf, and Count of the West March is the current Emperor of The Empire and Elector Count of Reikland. He was crowned in 2502 IC.
Reiklanders rejoice when the Emperor declares war, because all but the most cowardly of brigands leave their forest-haunts and seek easy coin as mercenaries.
Intrepid Reiklanders hack out living space from the Reikwald forest, raising palisades to shield their settlements from the horrors lurking in the woods. Even so, a man might leave his village and return a few weeks later to find it razed, his kith and kin missing.
Ranald is the god of thieves, tricksters and gamblers. He has four known 'aspects' : The Night Prowler, The Gamester, The Deciever, and The Protector.
The Skaven worship only one god: The Great Horned Rat.
The Skaven do not exist. They are mere myth, and fortunately, most Empire folk scoff at such tall tales.
The Skaven are nothing but a myth. Rats that walk like men is one thing - Chaos spawns many strange hybrids - but granting these creatures intelligence is the utmost flight of fantasy.
The Doom of Kasvar, a Tilean folk tale, speaks of an legendary ancient city destroyed by rat-men.
The name of the Skaven Clan that is attacking Ubersreik is Clan Fester. Rumours in the Under-Empire speak of a recent change of leadership in the clan.
Clan Moulder, Pestilens, Skryre and Eshin are the four Great Clans of the Skaven.
Clanrats supposedly refer to creatures killed by Ratling Guns as 'teeth-breakers', since the bodies of its victims tend to contain a copious amount of glowing bullets.

Author's Notes
I was very surprised when I searched for a compiled list of loading screen information and found nothing in the guides already, nor in the forums or the wiki. The above is the result of many, many screenshots taken throughout to "catch 'em all," so to speak. I hope you find what you are looking for. If I missed anything, feel free to let me know in the comments below. However, until I find it myself, I won't be adding anything suggested unless you have a screenshot of it to submit. That's the price of recording these word-for-word, typos and punctuation/grammar errors included. Some tips are even incorrect or misleading, sadly.

Note that some tips reference your saved control scheme to explain their functions, and since I guarantee my keybinds differ from yours, I elected to simply state what the control is called in the options. Some information in the loading screens can be counted as either a useful tip or a fact about the game world, so I had to make some decisions on which category they ought to reside in. Though they could easily be put in either and it wouldn't matter, I did my best to categorize them how I felt appropriate, and also to sort the info in a presentable way. Personally, I find some of the Khazalid to be a bit out of order, but that's the way they wrote them. Anyway, enjoy!

Thanks! I agree, the lore book would be neat, and in fact deserving of its own guide. I think I might've even had all lore pages found, so it'd mostly be a matter of taking screenshots of everything as the easiest way to document them. I'm... probably not going to ever get around to that, however. I have a guide for Vermintide 2 detailing the loading screen messages for that game as well, but it's incredibly outdated since Fatshark added a ton more and I just haven't found the motivation to put it all together. I mean, I started to, got quite a few things documented (someone even helped with that), but it's just a matter of putting my mind to making them presentable after collecting the rest of them.

I'm guessing they added some river related ones after the addition of Death on the Reik. Here's another.

Unfortunately I don't play this much anymore because it gives me migraines and motion sickness ever since I got a new monitor a few months back, though I'm still unsure if that's the culprit or coincidence. Either way, if there's more new additions I need to add, I'm not sure when/if I'll get to find them.
