FYI, I guess the trick is to stay with the Allies, not go independent, and take part in the war, at least till you do have nukes, then do the Central Party, and get the fascist demagouge. Would have been nice to just go the Civil War route, but... Without the right focuses, you can only get the demagouge [or communist] if you back them.
