I share those to get feedback not for anyone to give it a meaningless 'thumbs up'.
And certainly not for someone to choose to take them as upvote-whoring.
It's unfortunate that you see things that way but I assume there isn't really any point in telling you otherwise...

Well 'sorry' that I offended you. I'm well aware of what depth blending is and since I didn't code it, I rather utilize Source's capabilities. I don't expect nor want anyone to praise me and I agree that those people are not to be tolerated. But shit-posting ahead isn't really that much of a move either, don't you think? If you're not convinced, I don't bother, but please don't start talking me down when all you know is a screenshot's title you appearently misinterpreted for whatever reason.

The point of what I said should be crystal clear, so if it isn't obvious then here you go: you throw in technical jargon ( mind you, it really isn't ), and expect dumb people to start praising you for your apparent elevated intelligence. Smart people never show off, and never ever include words like "depth blend" or "mechanics" in their screenshots. This is extremely cringy from a lot of points of views (so not just mine).

There is even a subreddit for people that does this like this: www.reddit.com/r/iamverysmart

And you point being? If you just want to throw salt at me, I'm not interested...

There's a big difference between being good at something, and being good at masking how average you are behind jargon such as this.
