In China, so it's stir fry/stew mostly. We use steamer for buns, rice cakes, etc. None of the families I knew when I was a kid have ovens. Now some of them do, especially the young people.

You mostly find ovens in restaurants, Beijing ducks for example. You can also find vendors selling baked sweet potatoes with a portable oven on street.

You don't use an oven regularly? Interesting. How do you cook? We typically call it a 'stove' as well.

Oven is not that popular in my country... I just bought one several days ago and waiting for my cake/pizza kit to arrive. Perhaps I'll bake some clay as well
