The eaglefire deals a really good ammount of damage, and when I say a really good I mean that 3 shots to the head will kill any player, even the ones wearing a helmet.

The Eaglefire has the burst mode, it had the auto mode before an update changing it
The burst mode, if you don't know it, will shoot 3 bullet/shoot but will use those 3 bullet in your magazine
This means 3 headshot = death and the burst mode shoot 3 bullet at the ~ same type

This is why you should use a bit more the eaglefire, because of his damage

The Eaglefire has also a really good firerate between shots, this means you can spam the burst mode and it will be like a maplestrike but with 3 bullet/shot

This weapon has op damage at close range and a bit in medium range, add it a grip + tactical laser + halo/dot sight and you're sure to kill your target if you aim the head, and even if you miss your target and only hit it in the body, you can continue to shoot after this and finish him

What's about the range ?
Well nothing special, the Eaglefire is an assaut riffle and most of the assaut riffle has the same base range: 200 meter

His range doesn't has anything special but if you've seen my attachment guide, the vertical grip + full skill marksman will totally get rid of the recoil, or praticly

The burst mode:
Most of people hate it because the Eaglefire had auto mode before

But why people prefer the auto mode ?

This is the problem with eaglefire, even if you can spam the shots, there's always a mini time (not really visible) between the 2 burst shots and this is not really usefull when you just want to spray your opponent of bullet because even if it's really small, it's always worst than the maplestrike with a fast firerate

This is the second problem, I didn't mention it, but even with a grip + full marksman skills, there's a bit of recoil and when you just want to shoot people from a long distance, you need to aim a bit

The eaglefire is a great weapon and a common, you easily find it in civilian item spawn in washington and hawaii
But you need to train a bit with it before using it as a badass boi :D
