You can open the NVIDIA Control Panel and Add Garry's Mod's hl2.exe,but the NVIDIA Control Panel detection GMOD is HLS

And click the "Manage 3D settings"

Select it and click "Add Selected Program"/选择它然后点击"添加选定程序"


Click on "Browse" and go to the install directory for the game (Example: C:/ProgramFiles (x86)/Steam/Steamapps/common/GarrysMod/hl2.exe) and select the hl2.exe file and click Open.

Change Ambient Occlusion's setting to Quality or Performance
