Quick Mastery 1-20
By ByteCorruption
As you know, Trove doesn't really let you interact with players until mastery level 20. Features such as trading and player marketplace are locked out which make Trove significantly hard to progress. Once you reach level 20, these features are unlocked which allows you to fully explore trove.

Character Creation and Free Class Coin
In order to get to 20 mastery quick, it is essential you pick the boomranger class to start out with for two reasons:

1) Use it's big bomb ability for fast mining

2) It is a unique character that can get both melee and bow drops as weapons; when loot collecting, you will unlock more styles than characters which can only get one type of weapon as a drop.

Does this mean you cannot pick other classes? You will unlock more classes as you progress through the game. Matter of fact, you can get a class coin which unlocks another class by:

1) Go to glyph launcher (This is the screen you press "PLAY" before starting the game)
2) At the very top, next to "Settings" and "Help", there is a "Redeem Code" option.
3) Copy and paste this code 9FKECGHKWPDYNHNXJ2Y3, class coin will appear automatically in game!

Using Boomranger to Mine
The tutorial challenges are straight forward and have enough description to complete.

Move Forward: completed by moving at least 30 spaces forward
First Fight: destroy the monster in the house

Continue doing these tutorial missions using your boomranger. You will eventually get to "Complete a Dungeon".

Get to level 3 with boomranger, this normally takes about 2 dungeons. You will unlock your big bomb ability.

The secret with mining using the boomranger is to first find a bunch of ore (no kidding, they will be bunched together). When you find a bunch of ore, stand about where you see the center of the cluster. Switch to mining mode (formally called "builder mode"), this is where you are transparent and can dig up blocks. Dig down 4 blocks and set down the big bomb, it should destroy all the blocks around it. You can also use your boomerang ability to reduce your cool downs.

Continue Completing the Tutorial Missions
Completing Dungeons and Loot Collector
As you are completing dungeons you will be getting LOTS of items. The tiers of rarity go in this order:

1) Green - Requires Character Level 1
2) Blue - Requires Character Level 4
3) Purple - Requires Character Level 6
4) Orangeish - Requires Character Level 8
5) Red and above - Requires Character Level 10

There are some exceptions, very rarely at this point in the game you may get magic find, what this means is that an equipment can get upgraded to higher tiers. So sometimes you will see a Purple that requires level 4 because it originally was a blue tier but got upgraded.

Some equipment have pearls when dropped. These are the little pink icons. The stats don't really matter that much at this point in the game, but keep one set of green, blue, purple, orange, and red and above equipment (hat, face, and weapon). Preferably with more pearls since this gives you more power rank which is essential at accessing higher tier difficulties early in the game. The stars don't matter since we'll be upgrading our kept set. Eventually you will get 3 classes to level 10 and these will be our set of equipment used later.

For now:
1) Keep one set of equipment for each rarity (hat, face, weapon): Green, Blue, Purple, Orange, Red and above. Stats don't matter, prefer equipment that have pearls.

2) When you get access to a loot box, make sure these sets are locked since we don't want to get rid of them when we level up other classes.

3) Loot collect everything else
Mining Day - Ring Crafting
Prepare a few hours for mining. Faster if you do it on mining day - Tuesday

You can realistically go to any world to mine ore, basically you are going to mine everything with an emphasis on shapestone and primordial flames

You will need about 2,000 shapestone and 21 primordial flames.

The trick is what we discussed earlier. When you find a big cluster of ore, mine around the center 4 blocks down and use big bomb to destroy the entire cluster. You can use your boomerang to reduce cooldowns.

It took me about 2-3 hours to collect all the ore on Tuesday. You will get a large number of miner troves if you mine all possible ore, this will be very helpful and if you are fortunate you will also get the digsly ally!

In one of the tutorial missions, you will craft a ring crafter bench. You will make:

1) 21 sets of diamonds (or more, but the above shapestone doesn't account for this). This will give you 105 diamonds.

2) You will need to craft 29 more newbie rings (use power ring since you are a boomranger). You will get a chunk of mastery once you do this and can craft Dabbler rings.

3) Craft 50 Dabbler rings, this will give you another chunk of mastery. You should have 55 diamonds remaining. (once again, use the power version since physical damage is important)

4) Craft 50 Enthusiast rings (power version preferred).

You will get a large chunk of mastery. Open all your boxes and keep one of each ring you prefer to keep. The way the rings work, using the power version will always give you physical damage and second stat is randomized. Similar to your saved sets, lock your rings that you keep and loot collect the rest.

I preferred the jump stat as the second stat, but really your choice. Critical hit or magic find is also nice.

Getting to 400 Power Rank
The goal is to get to 400 power rank, this is because one of the last tutorial missions is to complete the shadow towers which the first one requires 400 power rank.

Keep completing those tutorial missions, most of them are straight forward. My suggestion is to just speed run dungeons, keep on the look out for good equipment that you will save (higher pearls). You can focus on specific stats such as attack speed or critical damage, but honestly these items are only used for such a short amount of time it doesn't matter too much.

When you have your equipment, a good way to boost power rank is to take them to a forge and for each set get them to be 5 stars each (it won't cost a lot of flux to do so, chances are you'll have more than enough to do this).

Complete a large amount of dungeons, go to the highest level world you can access based on your power rank. Once you get to level 10, you can access your first gem slot: water gem. If you are in a high enough difficulty world, you will be seeing gem boxes drop. The gem you will choose to equip will be the higher starting PR gem that you have, this makes it so when you upgrade it, it'll be the highest PR once it's fully leveled.

Leveling Up 2 more characters
If you followed my guide, you should have the boomranger and 2 class coins.

Class coins:
1) One from the beginning of the guide:

----
1) Go to glyph launcher (This is the screen you press "PLAY" before starting the game)
2) At the very top, next to "Settings" and "Help", there is a "Redeem Code" option.
3) Copy and paste this code 9FKECGHKWPDYNHNXJ2Y3, class coin will appear automatically in game!

---

2) One from mastery rank 3

Also, by this point, you should have a set of equipment for when the character class level is between 1-3 (green) 4-5 (blue), etc...

I used the class coins on candy barbarian and knight since both of these classes used the same weapon (melee) as the boomranger. You will want to get each of these classes up to level 10 which takes almost no time at all with equipment already set out for each of them.
Completing Mastery Rank 20
At this point, you should be decently close to mastery rank 20.

From here, I took my boomranger (could be any class) and continued to level them up, getting better equipment (shadow and above).

You can also fish to increase mastery ranks. If you visit the fishing shop in the hub to buy lures with your glim that obtained, you can catch a decent amount of fish which construct to even more glim. You can also buy the ship and sails which give a decent mastery boost for fishing to complete mastery 20.
PC: Multiple Characters - Alts
You have heard of alts, realistically this guide will work even if you did 8 characters at a time. I won't suggest how you can load 8 characters at a time, but the trick is to add everyone to each other's friendlist. When you find an ore group, as an example, or a dungeon as another example, you can quick join to that player and everyone gets full drops, experience, ore, etc...

The only difficult part is fishing, wouldn't recommend trying to do all 8 at the same time.
Summary for those who know Trove
1) Create Boomranger,

2) Use Referral code please for free class coin :) 9FKECGHKWPDYNHNXJ2Y3

3) Use big bomb technique (mine down into center 4 blocks, big bomb) to mine 2000 shapestone and 21 primordial flames

4) Create a "keep" set that you can pass around to other classes. Prefer for each level tier, max out using forge.

5) Get 3 classes to level 10 using the kept set. You should be able to access 3 classes: starting class, 2 class coins - one from mastery, one from referral

6)Fish to fill in gaps, fish shop has sails and ships.

7) Do multiple accounts at the same time if preferred, use join options for quick travels.

you can also level every class to level 4 which you can do even without owning all the classes

There's not really much of a point to do multiple characters unless you are using your own referral code on your main, anyhow, for new players trying to get to MR 20 so they can trade with their friends, I'd say this is a good strategy.
