The Locked

This mod adds a new character called The Locked! Unlock his hidden potential!

The Locked starts off slightly slower, but he has 5 hearts! Unfortunately for him, he can only have soul hearts, however. Regular HP Ups give him a soul heart, though, so not to worry.

This all changes, however, when you manage to collect 10 keys, or unlock him through various other means, such as Dad's Key, Skeleton Key or even both Key Pieces!

Once this happens, The Locked transforms into The Unlocked! I know, who'd have thought? Aside from finally freeing him from his shackles, The Unlocked enjoys a big boost to his speed and a whopping 1.5 damage modifier! For every 2 soul hearts The Locked has, The Unlocked gets 1 full heart container. So it all depends on how well you play before you can unlock him!

Once again, it wouldn't be a new character if we didn't run into some issues with the API again! Nothing too major, other than the fact that we can't slow down projectiles properly. I've wanted to make The Locked turn into The Unlocked as a separate character, however the API doesn't currently give us that option. Sad days, because the art assets are done, oh well!
