Description
THE HALF-TRUE STORY BEHIND IT ALL:
It was around 12:30 AM. I was bored, sitting in my room, wondering what to do, until I suddenly thought of something: rocks.
Well, what about rocks? I asked myself. Of course, it's important to understand that I'd had a long week. My mind was, to say the least, not at peak performance.

Instead of answering my question, I only replied with one word. Steel, I said to myself. It made absolutely no sense, and did not answer my question in the least. Suddenly, I came to a realization. I'd encountered perfect modding material: something that makes no sense, something that's weird, something that's so out-there that it could be absolutely hilarious (or disastrous, both work). So, I opened the Creation Kit, my heart set on creating yet another broken Skyrim mod related to steel and rocks.

I went to the weapons section, and, with mouse in hand, I made each and every basic (unenchanted) steel weapon look like a different, extremely large boulder. If you somehow come to the conclusion that you should download this mod, even though it does nothing but detract from the game, you'll need to go into third person in order to see the thing well. I say "thing" because I'm not sure whether I should call it a steel weapon or a boulder. Either way, the steel-weapon-boulder-thing is large enough that going into first person would cause your screen to be literally inside the rock, which winds up looking pretty weird (but then again, I suppose it looks weird anyway). You'll be able to see the world around you, it'll just look sort of "glitchy", I suppose is the best word for it.

I hope you enjoy this absolute mess of a mod I've managed to muster up from my exhaustion fueled, insanity driven 1:00 AM madness.

(By the way, I have a YouTube channel. I'm not hugely active on it, but I sometimes post videos--and sometimes, they're Skyrim modding videos where I test out my ridiculous mods or create ridiculous mods. Check it out if you feel like it, want a few laughs, or just wanna see more mod stuff. Here's the link, if you'd like to see it: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW2w3_9OO9SxZudOzi3dVLw .)

A MESSAGE:
First things first, for this message, I'm going to take off this whole "crazy guy" persona. I'm speaking sorta seriously now.
So, this mod is beginning to gain a bit of popularity. I tend to put messages on my mods like this when they get popular, because there's frequently a little hate against them. I understand why. I put very little effort into this mod, but even still, it's gaining more popularity than many, more deserving mods. Honestly, I don't have much of a counter argument. You're right. You're absolutely right. Frankly, I didn't expect it to get past 1,000 unique visitors. I especially didn't expect it to get onto the front page of the Skyrim workshop. It's like I slammed my face on a keyboard, and people loved it like it was a 300-page fantasy novel. You're definitely right that there are more deserving mods. This mod took me maybe ten minutes to make and maybe fourty-five minutes to complete (add title, make cover image, etc.). There are some mods that took people hours upon hours to complete, and receive maybe 500 unique visitors. So, I strongly encourage that anybody who reads this go out onto the Skyrim workshop and check out some other, less popular, impressive mods instead of just clicking on the mods on the front page of the workshop. Don't get me wrong, it's not exactly like I'm not enjoying this new popularity, but I do feel like there are other mods that deserve more popularity than this one.

Just think of steel arrows as small, thin boulders. Depending on the boulder, its no different!

@BrotherBacon @samjkn @EverybodyElseWhoAskedForIt Alrighty, so a lot of people have been asking for me to turn all the steel arrows of Skyrim into boulders, so you could shoot gigantic hunks of rock. I can now confidently say that I've tried it, and sadly, to no avail. I couldn't get it to work. So, I'm sorry to say, I won't be able to make that mod. It's a wonderful idea though. I certainly wish it were possible, at least.

Finally something more manly than fighting a dragon with your bare hands.

Now I can beat the shit out of a dragon with two boulders in my hands.

@Tronald Dump No, I wasn't stoned. Granite, my mind was a little foggy, though. Honestly, I think my mods have reached rock bottom. The process of making this mod in particular was sort of rocky. I think I was just stuck between a rock and a hard place, deciding whether or not to make this mod. (I'm sorry I stole the ideas for these puns from somewhere online, I'm a thief and a liar.)
