Descripción
Mine faster in safety!

The Skimmer Miner is a sleek, fast miner armed with dual gattling guns and dual minigun turrets. It expands the standard six-way drill layout for greater mining range and efficiency.

The open-air cockpit is complimented by the expanded drill layout for a wide field of view.

The ship is protected by hardened steel plating and all standard survival and convenience equipment (O2 Station, Fridge, Mobile Constructor) is included.

**Note**
The constructor and tanks are only accessible via the Control Panel ("P" Menu).

Updated 2/25/2017 - Tweaked a few textures and added decals

I've tried several mining vessels--and this one is the BOMB! Just make sure to whittle out a large enough area around the resource lode...but I can chew out a 10k iron sight in like 30-40 minutes. Loved it so much I put a base on the moon and put one there too! Awesome design--thank you!

@GAD Thanks for the kind words! I'm so pleased that the ship is working for you! I enjoyed the Ladybug (LadyBig) too -- but when I saw that the drills had a much greater range thanks to @techlord2099, I thought I'd make something that looked good and took advantage of that range. Still, the Ladybugs are great for their size, though I suspect they would work just as well with half the drills.

This is great Forjo. I had tried the Ladybugs (which I loved) but i tended to get stuff in situations it took a while to get out of. No such problems here. You can literally chew your way to anywhere with this beauty. I love the fact that vision isn't restricted and believe me when I say, you will soon have more ore than you know what to do with. I also had no need to worry about drones, as the guns did a fine job too. Congratulations and building my new favourite toy.
