Yes, too many years ago. I can't even confirm what effect the this trait has. I think it should be the additional damage. As my memory, you can gather it at dlc map, even out of Alchemic Clay, just on some other materials, but I don't know the certain position. Just raise gather level and try to gather and gather.
Or you can farm those end game bosses like Light Element, Twin Dragons, Demon King (maybe they call these names), two dlc bosses. The traits can be on their drops.
And, maybe it has better weapons, if you could check this guide of mine.

the person in the video doesn't explain on how he got those traits on alchemic clay
To make the chests respawn, you need to defeat the last boss on the DLC map and then wait a couple days + come back.
there is a problem with that recommended way to get UR Traits that you listed
since chests on the map don't seem to re-spawn that means each chest you open before saving, is a chest you won't get to open when you reload for another loop, effectively locking you out of any more loops for that save file if you save after opening all the chests.
Given the very low rate of UR traits appearing, this method would be extremely ill suited for farming multiple UR traits.
Atelier Firis not, I don't like this one because of a time limit and a too huge world map. While I have two guides for Atelier Lydie & Suelle. You can check them.
With those 4 recommended materials, Silver Tail form has the best stats distribution - high DMG, ATK and SPD, all of the three stats can affect the damage of normal attack.
"Every material has its own base stat enhancement, and the larger size the material is, the more stat enhancement it can get." Actually, it's "alchemist compent point" that truely affects, so the larger size, the better stats enhancement. And I choose synthesized material which has the most "alchemist compent point" among its catagory, then make it to the largest size with those traits I need, then make the doll powerful.
2. 999 is the limit. With LP buff, 666 is enough
3. Someone needs SPD, someone not, so I reccomend to enhance different character with different materials. You can check this guide to see my strategy.
