If anyone is having bad frames, what I did was change the .tanoa to .stratis after extracting the PBO, opened the mission in Stratis (Tanoa is already hard on frames) then moved the rig back into the map area (manually just dragged it after selecting everything), then I selected everything but the lights in the editor and turned off simulation and damage. All this together got me an additional 90FPS running the mission in the editor, and no, that's not a typo. I still need to go back and re-enable simulation for any asset with doors, but that shouldn't kill FPS by much at all.
Tip: you'll see checkboxes to the right of Enable Simulation and Enable Damage when you select multiple objects, checking those means you want the changes to apply to all selected objects.
