i thought the ending was good the final nail in the coffin for deLIElah was that she wouldnt wait for henry so they could leave together. she dont give a shit about henry

You can see the relationship between Ned and his kid (by looking at the very last Photo [out of the Camera] here -> Special Features -> Credits)

To everyone crying about the title (or was): A. You clicked on it, its YOUR problem. B. During my playthrough it was oh so very obvious she was lying. C.

I normally don't answer random commenter rants, but RubberDorky, much like the above video, you're completely missing the point of the game. It's an emotional journey, not meant to be a conspiracy theory. And to extend your Chekhov's gun analogy, it just turns out that the gun shown in the cabinet (missing teens, gov research, etc.) was a fake gun on purpose to misdirect both Henry and the audience from the real threat, bad parenting.

The game is pretentious, yet interesting. The game is full of set ups, but no pay offs. This guy is trying to make the argument that the ending "didn't suck". Sir, objectively it did suck as a story. All he puts forth as proof for the game not having bad design, is a bunch of superficial things like "Delilah lied to the cops", "Ned didn't kill his kid", "you don't know who to trust", etc.

It's some arty farty story, and without pay off, you're left with a thing that sUbVeRtEd YoUr ExPeCtAtIoNs.

If the story shows you a gun in a cabinet, you better damn well see that gun used by the end of the story. There's no narrative to PAY OFF the set ups of Henry getting questioned, Him and Delilah meeting, him seeing his wife. You can have a disappointing ending and still have a good story, but that's because you can still have a satisfying story that's disappointing.
