How to fix Easy Anticheat not being installed
By Chico
WARNING: This worked for me, but I am not sure if it would work for everyone else.

At some point, some players have noticed this message popping up on the top right side of their screen "Easy Anticheat is not installed and multiplayer will be disabled." Under it, this appears "Please reinstall Easy Anticheat to regain access to online activities". Now, I have had this problem and it never got fixed by restarting the game/verifying the game files. Now the process is very simple, it takes place in a few, simple steps.

The steps required
  1. Uninstall Easy Anticheat by going to (I store my Steam games at E:, so I will use it, but if you store them at C:, it's pretty much the same thing) E:/Steam/steamapps/common/Watch_Dogs2/EasyAntiCheat and run the executable in that file.
  2. Click on the drop-down menu when you run the executable and select Watch Dogs® 2.
  3. Once you selected it, two options on the bottom left of the executable will be highlighted, one of them stating "Uninstall" and the other stating "Repair Services". Click on the Uninstall, then close the executable once it finished uninstalling.
  4. Now go to E:/Steam/steamapps/common/Watch_Dogs2, and delete the EasyAntiCheat file.
  5. Go to your Library on Steam, then right click on Watch_Dogs 2, click on "Properties", "Local Files", "Verify Integrity of Game Files".
  6. When the verifying is done, Steam will automatically detect that the Easy Anticheat file is missing and will automatically download it. It's a small file (16.6 MB)
  7. Run your game and it should be fixed!
Thank you!
Thanks a lot for reading my guide, hope this helped. Feel free to ask questions and I will hopefully be able to answer.

Are you still experiencing the issue? I thought they would have fixed this by now.
