Xedus Ophanium Attack Frigate MK. 2

One of the most well known ships of it's day, the Xedus Attack Frigate is a common sight in deep space. Due to it's age and dated tech however, the Xedus is fading into obscurity, with it's manufacturer and original designer long since retired. We of Firestar Subsidiaries have taken it upon ourselves to bring back the much loved ship, redesigning her from the keel up with all the latest tech to create an honorary member of the Firestar fleet, while staying true to her creator's vision.

The result is this, the Mark 2 attack frigate. Classified as a Heavy Missile Destroyer, she features additional weapons, new armor, and jump drives. This frigate is much more versitile than her older sister, and as an added bonus includes her own programmable subsystems.

All credit to the generation one ship goes to the first designer of the class, Yatem.
