Small barge

Descripción
This is a small bulk barge like the type that was common in the smaller canals in Europe 50 yeras ago. The type is called Péniche, or Spits in dutch, which was designed to fit in narrow canals. This one is a bit longer then the original types. It is 50 meters long, but 40 meters was a more common size. It is not my model, just removed a lot of tris, and uploaded it.

STATS:
Cargoship
Capacity: 25
Tris: 12575(A bit high, I know)
Includes a diffuse and a specular map. Because it is a very detailed model, I thought that a normal map was not needed.
This models has a autogenerated LOD.

It could be, but that's too much work for me. This asset is made in an program that applies double faces, and removing these is a very painful job. however, this won't have much effect on your game, as only a few of these will be seen on your map.

I hope it can be easily reduced to 9740 tris...

Thanks. I'm planning a remake, I'll fix it at that moment.

@Ploefke Since you're dutch, think about the animal 'Rode Lynx', red is always left ;)

@SeaFalcon Could be, I'm not an expert in shipping industry.

Looks like the red and green nav lights are on the wrong sides. Other than that it looks great and gives purpose to river cities where it's awkward to always have sea ships pass.
