The username is the most important key element to representing your full edginess. Here is a list of things to include in your edgy username:

• Make sure the username is in full lowercase.
  
• Add a period (.) at the end of the username (optional)
  
• Replace/take out/add in random letters that would otherwise render the username incoherent. Some examples are shown in the following paragraph.
  
• Spell the word/name incorrectly so people question your intelligence. (This is when you explain to them you are edgy af)

This is the hardest part. If you are edgy enough you can make up your own username. But most depressed teenagers are dull and boring so the alternative is to take an already existing word and change a letter in there, for example, we take the word "Pixel". These are some possible alternatives to turn this word into an edgy username:

• pixel.
  
• picksel
  
• pixxel
  
• pixle.

These a just a few but the possibilities are endless! It takes absolutely zero creativity and is simple enough to do.

The profile picture is the second most important aspect to your profile. It is the element that displays your overall attitude and can increase your overall your edginess. Make sure that your profile picture is of a human being, either from a game, illustration or a real world person. This portrays your overall lack of connection to other human beings, because you are a teenager going through a serious mid-life crisis.

There are multiple ways you can obtain an edgy profile picture. The most common way is to go onto google and obtain a picture of a person. The best keyword to use in your search is "tumblr", for obvious reasons. These are a few examples that you could use:
After we obtain an image to use, we will then need to touch is up a bit to express the full edginess that we can squeeze out of it. (You don't necessarily need to edit the image, you can just leave it how it was which can furthermore express your attitude of how you "don't care") I edited the image of my choice within photoshop, but you can use gimp or any other image editing software.

The description of your steam profile is basically what hooks in the viewer and keeps them on your profile page so they view everything you have to offer. There are many things you can put in your description. These can range from:

• Incoherent sentences.
  
• Random lyrics from a song you listen to regularly (which is obviously either a rap song or an extremely depressing song).
  
• Make sure to use html formatting to spice it up.
  
• If you create edgy art or maybe edgy montages on your YouTube channel you could link to them in the description for bonus points.
  
• You could even leave it blank or just put a random symbol/letter to emphasize even more how much you don't care about anyone or anything.

Creating the description should come to you naturally. Take inspiration from other edgy steam profiles if needed.

Your overall behaviour must be displayed correctly. Whenever you play a competitive match in CSGO (lets face it, you obviously play CSGO) make sure to have an "I don't care" attitude. Act like you don't care about anything or anyone. Play as tryhard as you can and then when someone asks why you are trying so hard make sure to say something like "I'm not even trying lol". Only communicate if needed. Never call out. Make sure to always act like you haven't slept in the past week, and sound as depressing as possible.

The showcases that you choose to use are extremely important. The first one must always be an Artwork one. This where you need to choose the most edgiest steam background you can find, so you can make it line up as if the background is showing through the artwork showcase. Some notable examples:

The second showcase can be anything you like, but for more artistic edginess you could add an item showcase. Here I will show you my own example, from my own steam profile:Obviously the items don't need to be cat related; they can be any edgy items you happen to stumble upon. Don't be afraid to spend as much money as possible for the edgiest items that you may find.

Feel free to add your own touches to your profile, but try not to steer away from the mainstream edginess too much. If you want to get your profile known, make sure to share your profile picture and any artwork showcases you upload, and do the "Rated & Faved" thing that everyone seems to do within the edgy depressed teen community. Get your name known to fulfill that attention crave that fuels your very worthless existence.
