Looking at the map I obtained the quest somewhere west of Everdale, between Everdale and Raguk's Camp. A large ogre-like creature was standing next to a bonfire, and when killed he drops a key to a chest nearby, which has a map inside. I then took the map to the Maps man back in town and recieved a quest.

Dretus recieved his quest and immediately headed out towards Ruinswick, where the Map man told him to go. He's supposed to be searching for some sort of scepter there. On the way there he found a nice little hut with nothing notable inside (yet).



Continuing the long journey and finally this is starting to look more like it! Dretus saunters through the creepy grove in the hopes of finding some enemies, but there are none. This will change soon.



Finding a lit brazier and some steps, Dretus finally enters Ruinswick.

Dretus follows the eerie path, not seeing much of anything yet. He keeps his eye peeled for any scepter-looking objects.



Wait a minute, what's that up ahead? Dretus spots a half-naked man peeing near a tree- no wait, that's a zombie! There's another to his left as well. Dretus will take care of those.



Dretus pushes in but only finds more and more zombies until he can sneak away to a different part of the ruinous town. He calls Epona for help but she's busy elsewhere, so he'll have to tackle this on his own.



More zombies, and now there's green fog everywhere. Dretus isn't frightened, he's a big orc boy. He keeps going.



Now this looks promising! Time to look for a sceptre!



There's no sceptre, just a big graveyard and some wierd noises coming from further in.



There's a glowing blue spectre in front of a black gate that looks like it has souls crawling on it. She says she can only open the gate for someone with a key. So Dretus needs to look for both a key and a sceptre now?

Dretus finds a gate with a building that looks important. Time to look up here!



IS THIS IT? OH BOY OH BOY OH BO- No, it's not. Dretus discovers it doesn't do anything yet.



Well, there doesn't appear to be anything else around this area, so Dretus wanders off somewhere else while killing zombies along the way.



A path that leads up into the mountains? Maybe this is it!



HELLO- BINGO- YAHTZEE! This looks like a really important location, but there was nothing there for Dretus to do.

Dretus looked around the rest of the town just incase, but found nothing. Maybe next time!

Dretus gets on his horse and heads out of Ruinswick. He didn't find the sceptre but had fun exploring!

He'll come back again. Maybe he missed something or maybe the quest just isn't finished yet, but it was a very neat location! Another shout out to Epona who was featured at the bottom left in every screenshot.
