Creepvine Forest Survival

In the creepvine forest you will be surrounded by creepvine, seed clusters, stalkers, and sandstone.

Things you need:
-O2 Tank
-Survival Knife (see below)
-Flashlight
-Enough food or water to last a day (this guide will help you get more)

Things you should use:
-Flippers
-Scanner

If you craft a survival knife, with titanium you can find around there, then you can cut the creepvine and turn it into fibers used in many vehicles and bases. You can pick up the glowing seed clusters on the creepvine to turn into lubricant (used for vehicles and power cells). If you go deeper you can find little caves that will be full of bleeders and silver. Bleeders can easily be hit off with your knife.

In shallower caves you can find crashfish, which can be found in most biomes. Crashfish come out of weird red plants and act as a homing missile. THEY WILL HARM YOU. If you survive a Crashfish cave and look inside the plant, you can find: crashfish eggs, crashfish powder, or nothing. Crashfish powder is used for flares and a repair tool.

DONT GO TO DEEP IN THE CAVE OR ELSE YOU CAN OVERHEAT GET STUNG OR DROWN. Creepvine forests are full of caves and are near the grassy plataeu, that will eventually lead you to the mushroom kingdom, full of cyclops blueprints. It will also have a slow tasty fish called hoverfish.

These fish will be the first things you want to eat, besides garyfish, when trying to survive. You can also catch Peepers (easy at night), boomerangs, and holefish (only in caves). Dont forget to get the pink little slow fish called bladderfish. BLADDERFISH CAN MAKE WATER AND ARE EASY TO CATCH. If you dont want to catch those you can find salt deposits in the creepvine forest, and with some cut up coral tubes you can make bleach, also for creating water.

Besides that there will be biters and spadefish from the grassy plataeu.

Biters go in herds in the grassy plataeu, but in the creepvine forest solo. They attack and chase, especially if your health isnt 100% and do half as much as the stalker.
Spadefish are weird shaped and edible, they should glow at night.
Eggs, Bases, and Vehicles

In the creepvine forest (the only place with stalkers), there are tons of eggs. Eggs can be hatched with an incubator, to have a little aquarium, ot for food. They can also be used for breeding to get more fish you like.

Most basic eggs can be found: Boomerang, Stalker, Peeper, Crashfish, Hoverfish, Holefish, and Spadefish.

Bases are one of the foundations of Subnautica (get it) and need tons of blueprints to work.
The creepvine forest can contain blueprints for the following: Life Support, Battery Charger, and bioreactor. DONT BE FOOLED THOUGH, THERE ARE TONS OF METAL FRAGMENTS FOR STALKERS TO CHEW ON, THEY MIGHT GET CONFUSED. Metal Fragments are a good source of t itanium, basic essential for bases and survival, and can tame a stalker for five minutes.

No vehicle parts can be found in the creepvine forest thats close to the escape pod, but nearby in the grassy plataeu there are Seamoth fragments. It is still possible to find a cyclops fragment in the creepvine forest, hope youre lucky. Wreckage around the cliffs usually have something useful, blueprint or not. For most of this you would want an O2 tank which is easy to craft and is a starting blueprint.
Finally Stalkers...

Yes the worst for last. The creepvine forest may be the best starting biome, but it has its bad side that will soon be chasing you.

Stalkers are like a mix between a sea dragon and an ugly shark. The name is actually spot on, stalkers chase you, and chase you, and chase you. As you try to escape them, you will probably round up more, so be careful.

The survival knife can be used to chase them off, but they deal 30 damage if they bite you first (and they probably will and then bite you again). A good strategy is getting them to the surface and close, only to dive down and hit their belly or going left when theyre near and then cut them (If you have a strategy please share it in the comments). IF YOU THINK YOU HIT IT GO BACK TO WHERE YOU WERE OR EXPLORE, BUT AVOID THAT STALKER, THE SECOND HE SEES YOU HE WILL CHASE YOU AGAIN, hope your lucky.

If you watcha stalker pick up lots of metal, then a stalker tooth will drop. The stalker tooth can be used to make enameled glass for vehicles and bases. The stalker tooth does not unlock any blueprints by itself (same with enameled glass), and is not an essential, but good to have stored somewhere.

ALWAYS KNOW WHERE THE STALKERS ARE AND TAKE THEIR EGG WITH CAUTION.

bort you can actually just place a window regularly on the end and it will turn out that way, the same goes for on top. Hope that helps.

Not bad, but I have a question for you... In the image of the base (in the Eggs, Bases, and Vehicles chapter), how do you get the dome window at the end of the corridor?

Its pretty easy to dodge stalkers, just hold down Left and when he is next to you stab him once and he swims away

Stalker teeth will sometimes fall out when they pick up scap metal. I find this to be a safer method than stabbing them though I am unsure why some stalkers will never drop teeth when picking up metal while others are reliable way to harvest
