(SP) "Afghanka" - USSR

It's been 5 years since the intervention of the Soviet Union armed forces in the civil war in Afghanistan between the local socialist government and the CIA-backed insurgency, the Mujahideen. The conflct has consisted mainly in guerrilla and mountain warfare between the soviets and the militias. With the deployment of airborne forces in the country, the USSR armed forces have now a chance to fight back the enemies, with the combination of infantry and armed helicopters like the Mi-24 "Hind", and sometimes with artillery or armored vehicles support. Anyways the enemy is well prepared, and it seems to look forward to reject the invaders.

The mission is a counter-insurgency operation. The enemy does not know that we could move some VDV soldiers in trucks to a village held by some Mujahideen militias, so we will use the surprise as the main tactic to neutralize the enemies. They won't realize what's happening before the Soviet force charges against them!
