Good news everybody.
The blueprint has now been updated because you can now add rides to blueprints! So no more precision placement, just put it down, and that's it!

Jaws, if you find it tricky get the placement right, you can always move the wooden supports around the ride to make room for placing it. Then afterwards you can move the wooden supports back to their original location.
