คำอธิบาย
The EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate was a capital ship designed and developed by the Kuat Drive yards for the Empire preceding the Galactic Civil War in response to raids by rebels on Imperial convoys. It was a smaller, less expensive ship than the Star Detroyer and therefore more cost effective to use for escort duty. It housed enough armament to fend off even the boldest of rebel attacks exacting heavy losses to rebel raiders during the early years of it's inception into the Imperial Navy, promptly enticing the rebels to develop the B-wing in response.

During the course of it's use by the Empire, numerous frigates were acquired by the rebels through defection, disabling, or outright theft, and the Nebulon-B became a staple in the rebel fleet. The acquired ships were heavily modified by the rebels converting many of them into mobile hospitals by repurposing cargo space and the two hangar bays, which were each large enough for a single A-wing or X-wing, into medical facilities. The most famous of these was the Redemption, where Luke Skywalker had his right hand repaired after his first encounter with Darth Vader.

The Nebulon-B would go on to see regular use by the Rebel Alliance and played an integral role in the Battle of Endor fending off many of the Empire's TIE fighters and TIE bombers throughout the course of the battle helping to secure victory.

I couldn't really find an "official" version of this ship and my research turned up with many different interpretations of it, so I guess this is mine for the sake of Space Engineers.

By far my largest, and most complicated build to date. If I am honest with myself, it isn't nearly finished, I wanted to add a lot more detail than I have, but it's in an enjoyable state so I hope you all like it. I may tidey up some details and possibly go on to optimize some things, maybe put in some scripts, but realistically... I'm bored of it (you can tell in some places haha) and want to move on to other things so we'll see.

There's not a lot that bares mentioning aside from that there are four points of entry, two on either side of the command bridge (second large pod down in the stack under the forward main hull section) and two next to the dockining tubes under the connector spanse. Also, I was lazy and put the lifts on timer blocks so you'll have to push the button and then get in the lift (I may add some scripting for this later depending on how long my attention span lasts). And then there's the fact that the interior is not at all accurate as I had to cut down on mass and save space.

There are some fun little tidbits of lore scattered around too for those of you who enjoy that stuff so happy hunting! May add more down the road as well.

It is atmospherically capable but as with all of my recreations, in order to look accurate, it has hidden thrusters so be sure to turn off thruster damage.

How can I download this and play it in my own game of Space Engineers? Steam just keeps telling me to "click Subscribe." I've done that. And yet I can't find this ship in my game. Are there more steps?

@Apfeltaschentv

It's an old build. A lot of changes have occurred to this game since I originally published it. I may make my way back around and update all of my builds if I can find the time.

@blitzstarwarsman

Honestly, I just make things match as reasonably possible. If I were to copy exactly, it would in fact take me hours if not days to get every detail right. So, in this case, I just pick a shape and shotgun it on there, then fill in the gaps with others.

If you are instead eluding to the structures at the front, then yes, I do use more reference than anything, especially if I am trying to accurately capture the appearance of an object or build.

Out of curiosity, when designing the greeblys (the decorative bits that don't do anything but look cool) like on the fin in the front, or in an extreme case the cityscape on top of an ssd, do you use artistic license or do you spend an hour staring at reference pictures?

Indeed it does.
