"My selfmade Commanders Chair to play Elite: Dangerous.

There are many gaming Chairs to buy but since im a tall person of over 2m height i had to built my own one. It's a sundeck chair of 'Lafuma', a french product i ordered via amazon. the T16000M FCs have a lower level, thus i have a comfy armrest. (helps me on long game sessions). i can't get rid of a keyboard's use so i have my apple keyboard (plugged on PC) right before me. my IPad with RoccatPowerGrid is right behind there with macros of most used things.
The whole thing is mounted on a board with wheels attached to it to move it along my room.

Pictures were taken with my old smartphone. the quality is bad but with a higher res i might have to clean everything even more! xD"

ok yeah, i could not live without full depth mechanical keys. theres some good ones on amazon that are fairly cheap. i swear all the big brands add like 40% more cost just because its "razer" or "logitech"

the apple keyboard was flat and had on the under side a bar, which lets me had the keyboad in place. also the F1 is straight up the 1 button, not miles away diagonal. this is good for multi key depended input games.

apple keyboard was not my first choice or favorite since as a gamer the apple keyboards live span is below 1 year.

Darn. Yeah the ones I looked at basically seemed for someone playing with a xbox controller without say a HOTAS flexibility.

I was hoping for somthing more "integrated" such as what voice attack can do

I have a bunch of macro programable keys on my KB/M for example which I haven't yet found good elite use for given the way the menus "move around" and that as they don't always start from the same place every time you open them you can't get to the same place every time with the same set of keystrokes :(

ah well...cool chair though! Not sure what you need the tab for with the HOTAS but it does look funky lol

i made my own grid, since i like to have macros, these profiles you might have sighted have mostly simple actions like deploay landing gear or toggle light on/off.

Hey Morwo, just been checking out Powergrid, is there a grid you recommend? on their site I'm seeing a total of 4, 3 of them have only been rated by 1 person....
