The Guide
The Zed State
Whenever you stun a hostile, they will fall into the "Zed" state. During this state, they will display "Zzz" sprites and be incapable of detecting you. But be cautious because hostiles (robots, humans and animals) can't sleep forever (unless they're dead.) So after time passes, the number of Z's will decrease from 3 to 1. During that time, you are able to roam around freely and even dance on their helpless body!

However, when the Z's finally disappear, the poor hostile will wake up and attempt to regain consciousness. Don't worry, you can always stun them again (stun during Zed state to reset the 'Zed counter') and carry on dancing.

Free Guns
That's right! Due to the nature of the Watch_Dogs 2 drop system, it's possible to grab free guns from the lifeless bodies of your victims! You don't have to spend cash to pimp your loadout, just kill and loot. Restock ammo at pawn stores if you need it.

But remember, when you choose to pick up a weapon and your loadout is full (max two weapons + stun gun), it will replace the currently held weapon.

Scout First
Even if this game offers aggressive approaches, I still believe that you should utilise the cameras almost everywhere. The cameras allow you to determine the location as well as walk patterns of enemies, the tools and sections of the area which you could use to your advantage and even some hidden easter eggs ;-)

Bikes o' Cars
Until you unlock the Hijacker skill in the Tinkering skill tree, bikes will be your best friend. Why do you ask? They don’t have alarms; they’re quite fast and incredibly useful when escaping police through the alleyways.

Bonus Tip: You are able to stick explosives to vehicles; go nuts driving those suicidal bikes!

Don't Trust The Police
Honestly, the police in this game represent the American police a bit too well. If they ask you to pull over after chasing you DO NOT PULL OVER! If you wish to keep your life, you'll keep driving. If you stop - you get shot.

Bonus Tip: Want to anger the police? Just stand next to them for a few seconds - they get triggered easier than the internet.

Dogs In-Game
You must - pet them.

Unless they're aggressive, then you shoot them in the face.

Become an Uber Driver
Perhaps you don't like being a taxi for hire, but trust me - it's hysterical and beneficial early game. It's one of my favourite aspects of this game, setting you in unique scenarios, containing some of the best lines!

Bonus: Each trip will net you between $2800 to $9600.

Wallhacks? Nah, NetHacks
NetHack is something like Spider Man's senses, they display points of intrest much clearer and the ability is a god-send during Hacking Invasions. It will display your enemies though the walls after you've scanned/tagged them through the cameras/gadgets.

CarOnDemand Lazyness
I heavily suggest not buying any pricy cars at the car dealers for a few reasons. First of all, the appalling service of Car On Demand. A service which basically delivers your car to you, it sounds great - but at times the car is delivered 200 or even 500m away from you. I don't know about you but I'd rather steal a ride, even if it doesn't have a sexy paint job.

Secondly, the city is full of priced cars. If you've never been to the rich areas, you don't need to - the city is loitered with brand new, fast and straight up beast cars.

Flight of the Valkyries
Well, perhaps not literal Valkyries - but drones are close enough, right?

This thing is a $67,500 beauty. It allows you to clear hacking puzzles with ease, cause havoc from above, and even create aerial bombardment runs on other players (with the aid of some skills.)
If not your first purchase, it should be in the top 3.

Radio Can Be Useful
Except for some of the great songs on the radio, it also updates you with the latest news happening around you. Most often, it comments on what DEDSEC or the major companies have done. Your actions affect it, listen in sometime after you've done something grandeur.

You forgot a tip. You can jump on your flying drone with your RC car. Makes most of the puzzle easier. ( edit : as said kirby )

a little trick I learned with the drone is that the if you set it up right, you can hop on it using the jumper drone, allowing you to get it into areas it normally needs perks for.

why even buy cars for car on demand when the cyberdriver mission gets you one of the best cars real early on

This ain't nothing man, the real juice lies within the secrets of Watch Dogs 2, like the special takedown you get for completing the shuffler easteregg. Or the ultra useful toxic van, or the funny Jurrasic Park jeep that when you honk it makes a LOUD dino roar! We want juicy secrets, not basic advice!

Basic common sense beginner instructions. Thank you for taking the time to make this. But, I was hoping for something a little juicier

Also, using the skill where you can call a gang or police to take care of your enemies for you is super helpful and can distract an entire area of bad guys. Just remember that even the peeps u call will attack u
