DISCLAIMER
This guide is meant to help you (and me) figure out what resources you will need to gather to craft specific stuff. Hopefully it will help you figure out what to stockpile before you place your BCU and start the hard part of the game (unlike me on my first playthrough)

This guide is a work in progress. More info will be added as I get it. If you would like to contribute, please leave any info you have in the comments section.
Basic Crafting
There are several things you can craft from the get go, provided you find the right materials to craft them.

On top of all this, from your Inventory, you can drag Blueberry(s) onto Bottles of Water to insta-craft Berry Water. Berry Water gives more Hydration and Veggie nutrition than eating the two seperately.
Advanced Crafting I - Base Command Unit
Once you place the BCU, it enables the advanced crafting, accessed through it. It does cause NPC Hunters to start spawning in as well, so it's best to have a base set up and a good chunk of resources ready to process and craft with.

BCU BASICS
The BCU Slowly Generates Power and Mass. The BCU can store up to 500 Power and 100 Mass, but there are certain items that can be crafted by the BCU and placed nearby to increase that number. Everything Crafted in the BCU Requires both to craft, some of the items (such as the Base Light and Refinery) consume Power to run, so it's best to have at least 1 Generator placed and ready before trying to build a modern skyscraper.

QUICK NOTE: Even with the Power/Mass Storage placed, the BCU only seems to generate up to 500 Power and 100 Mass. That said, unless you're waiting to craft something in particular, it's most resource effective to let the BCU generate both to their initial cap before using a Generator/Mass Fabricator.

Advanced Crafting III - Weapon Upgrades
Weapon Upgrades are made in the Workbench, under the Upgrade tab.

Pistol and Shotgun Upgrades are the same. I will suspect Rifle is as well, but I can't confirm that yet.

Upgrades (Structure)
Several structures can be upgraded on a Per Piece basis, but having multiples of a item (such as the Plant Bed or Animal Housing) will require the upgrades be purchased for each.

Very nice work been done . Thank you. I personally use the ArtMoney memory Editor to max out all crafting mats in game instead of farming them. You can find it here : {LINKKI POISTETTU}

Anyone hear when it's going to be implemented for the advanced gun parts to the final upgrade for weps?

You can get cotton from planting cotton seeds and let grow em :) Seeds are random loot in bags you find around the world or even directly if you find a cotton plant, just loot it.
