Boost Duration

The Team That Slays Together...
[Win 30 matches in Team Slayers.]

30 wins x 3 minutes = 1.5 hours per team
Alpha + Bravo = 3 hours
In-Lobby / Disconnection / Josh dialogue: +1 hour
TOTAL: 4 hours


We Will Survive
[Win 30 matches in Team Survivors.]

30 wins x 5 minutes = 2.5 hours per team
Alpha + Bravo = 5 hours
In-Lobby / Disconnection / Josh dialogue: +1 hour
TOTAL: 6 hours


Army of One
[Win 30 matches in Slayers.]

30 wins x 3 minutes = 1.5 hours per player
Player 1 + Player 2 = 3 hours
In-Lobby / Disconnection / Josh dialogue: +1 hour
TOTAL: 4 hours


Eye of the Tiger
[Win 30 matches in Survivors.]

30 wins x 5 minutes = 2.5 hours per player
Player 1 + Player 2 = 5 hours
In-Lobby / Disconnection / Josh dialogue: +1 hour
TOTAL: 6 hours

GRAND-TOTAL: 20 HOURS!!!


- CAUTION -

God forbid breaking any time bonuses! Kick any random players as they will certainly do just that.

In "Slayer" & "Team Slayer", kill with guns only. Every melee kill adds 5 seconds to the clock.


Bringing the Pain
[Defeat 100 players using physical attacks in Versus.]

- CAUTION -

Boost this achievement in "Survivor" and "Team Survivor" because melee kills have no effect on the clock. You have plenty of time to make it, TOO MUCH time...
Disconnections
Expect a lot of disconnections shown as "XXX has left the game" or "The host has ended the session". Don't believe the BS and rant.

Takes turn to host to see who has better luck maintaining connections.

It should go without saying that everyone must pause their bandwidth-intensive tasks like BitTorrent or Cloud Backup.

Mute BGM
You CAN'T shorten 20 hours of boosting but you CAN mute 20 hours of looping Versus Mode background music.

  • Px4 Handgun has 87.5% critical rate. It wastes Majini with ease.


  • Faster knifing speed.
  • Faster Melee Finisher.

Executioner Majini
  • Drops a power weapon on defeat.

  • An express way to send a predestined losing team member into dying status, prone to a Melee Finisher.

Idle > Ego
The nature of boosting is non-competitive. Go idle every chance you get. Thank God Crapcom did not implement kick on AFK players.

The predestined losing team should stay idle at all times.

The predestined winning team should go idle once they have pulled a far lead.

  • Camp inside the bus. The Executioner Majini cannot enter it.



  • To minimize deaths, trick Majini into grabbing you. With your back turned to them, most standard Majini wielding Axe, Kukri, Megaphone, Club or Wrench prefer to grab you. Relax! Enemy grabs deal no damage. However, watch out for the other type of Majini wielding Pole, Pick or Shovel. They do not grab. They club.


  • In any case, do not idle facing the Majini's way. Otherwise, they mean business.


  • I warned you! QUICK TIME EVENT ATTACKS!



Out of ego, some players can't put their virtual selves in "danger". They go around murdering bots or fellow boosters for no good reason.

When time's up, an inconvenient truth is revealed: no additional benefits were reaped.

Remember, this is a 20-hour marathon. Save your strength.
Verdict
Gaming should be fun. Achievement grinding is not fun.

I encourage you to let go of RE5 multi-player achievements for your own sake. If you persist, however, I hope my guide alleviates some pain.

No. The lobby counts noses. You can't kick-start a team game with inadequate players.

No join-in-progress.

Disconnection of any player kicks everyone back to the main menu.

It's a good point to hate this type of awards, but I would prefer not the ones for starters or ones you can get in a regular walkthrough, but secret achivments, like finding an easteregg or doing something unpredictable with majini, and that award would be kept completely invisible, 'till you get it.
Just a thing to think about.

Thank you for your guide. It would be useful, if I find someone to play with - 0 players online at any time. That's the problem I thought I can solve there, but got a bunch of good advices and funny lines instead.
