Only slight downside to it is the inconsitency (I hope you understand what I mean) of the Pilot Whales. I had everything from 0 to 3 Pilot Whales in my fully expanded city which makes it hard to rely on them in any way. If you wanted the feature to be like this it just does not fit my playstyle; what I have in mind is that while the spawn points of the Pilot Whales and their time span remains random, you are guaranteed to have them on say 10-20% of the workable tiles in every city.
Otherwise, realy nice concepts with the re-usable workboat and the food-culture-production interaction for tall empires especially. Also runs completely bug-free which does not come naturally with such unique features.
