Suburban Elementary School

Beskrivelse
A large American suburban elementary school. Definitely not compact but realistic looking, I think. Looks best when you decorate around it.

This asset is modelled after the school I attended during my elementary years. Since I just graduated college (Dec. 15, 2016) I decided to create a model of the place where my education started. I thought the real school was perfect becuase the hallway letters are displayed outside and the school's red accents could be different colors in game. The school opened in 1980 and is located in Houston, Texas. PreK/Kindergarden (located in the 'k' hall next to the gym) through 4th grade are served. 5th grade was moved to another site. The YMCA runs after school programs on campus. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this asset.

Reminds me of the old Las Vegas elementary schools that opened during the 70s, 80s, and 1990s.

Really love this school!
Out of curiosity, could you make a YMCA or After School Karate building, maybe for your storefront series?

Really like this elementary high school, however, it costs 5000 more than vanilla (very little), has the same maintenance cost as vanilla and provided more than double the usual amount of students.

This makes sense in the way that it's size allows for bigger capacity, but the cost of it is far too low! the cost should be increased by 10-20k at least and increase the maintenance cost by double for it to be balanced.

Also, the texture on the roof is extremely low res and looks awful

To solve the argument I am half Canadian and half American and I have seen much worse, nasty, and more brutal crime in Canada than I ever did in USA. I lived in Texas for 30 years and never locked my door when I left and nothing was ever stolen ever. People are people and USA is a land of many cultures and to judge anybody is shallow minded.

@darthroe. Those ideas really didn't work. My highschool was one of those windowless, open-concept messes. They quickly converted it. Felt like a jailhouse inside, and I couldn't photosynthesize while I studied because there was no natural light.

RE: windowless thing. It was trend in school design especially in 1970s across North America that largely had to do with energy efficiency. I also heard it also was partially due to the idea of avoiding outside distractions to students; I don't know how credible that is since that also happened to correspond with open floor plan design. I happen to have attended an elementary school that had a large addition built in the early 70s (original part was build in the late 50s) that was windowless open floor plan, (which at the time in the early 80s was semi-retrofitted with partial walls), and by the early 90s, windows were installed and the open floor plan was completely gone with proper walls, rooms, and hallways. Similar designs and retrofits happened to the additions to the junior high and the high schools I attended. Anyway, most of the schools build around that time in my city (in Canada) all had minimal amount of windows.

Seriously, SilverWind, you need to chill and get a life other than trolling because you suck at it.
