A very important change came with the preseason 2 update, changing the brackets of the ranks. Many players are unaware of this change, as not many are even ranked again. This was a much needed change as 85% of players were stuck in bronze and silver (as shown by the graph below), while only 0.5% of players were able to obtain royalty.

All ranks have been slightly adjusted, with the exception of Royalty which remains at 515,00+

Bronze's new bracket sits from 1 - 114,99 points (old bracket being 1 - 150,000) making it slightly easier to obtain higher ranks.

Silvers new bracket is 115,000 - 214,999 (old bracket being 150,000 - 300,000) also making it slightly easier to achieve higher ranks.

Golds new bracket comes in at 215,000 - 314,999 (old bracket being 300,000 - 375,000), this will be where the majority of players end up.

Platinum's new bracket is at 315,000 - 414,999 (old bracket being 375,000 - 450,000) golds from last season will most likely be placed here.

Diamond's new bracket comes in at 415,000 - 514,999 (old bracket being 450,000 - 515,000).

Royalty, being the highest rank currently in preseason 2, will remain at 515,000+ setting an incredibly high standard for only the best players, or the ones who have too much spare time.
