VMT-Link between the HUD and an item to display formerly hidden helpful information (cf. Global Radar).

⚠️ If you DO NOT want the HUD, you can get this mod without it here. ⚠️

This mod replaces both Machine Guns with new ones with HD Textures. It also contains reworked heat behaviour.
The Sentry Rotating Minigun is replaced by a M134 Minigun.
The M2 Browning is replaced by itself with a new, more detailled model.

The particularity of that mod is that it includes a HUD display for the Machine Guns.
How it works is that when you use the minigun, you'll see a thermometer appearing in the bottom right of your screen. If the heat reaches the max level, the gun will overheat (as it already does) and you'll have to wait for it to cool down. Since the cooldown is long (60 seconds) for the M2 Browning, I also added a 60sec timer so you can know when you'll be able to use it again.

Have fun with this addon :D, it's probably ALMOST the last one I'll do since I am moving to other horizons. I'll keep helping new modders to create cool addons though if they need help :D.

New HD Models for the Minigun and the Cal. 50 Gun
Reworked heat behaviour for a more realistic effect
HUD Temparature (for both) and Overheat timer (for the Cal. 50) display ; NO script so it works online.

mansher all you gotta do is unpack the vpk file and delte the minigun file that replaces it its not that hard

@not_requested49 : The HUD cannot be dissociated from the Vanilla Models. There is a special texture in the Models (that are not in the Vanilla models) that make it work. However, a modder could release a version of this that includes the two small textures in the Vanilla models, and it would work.

i agree with the person below, if you have any time to, can you put in the HUD without the HD models? i actually liked vanilla but this provided a useful HUD, especially when using the minigun as you cant really tell when its almost fully overheated like you can with the .50 cal

You've put the mod without the HUD but not vice versa. I would like to have the HUD without the models
