Zedsplosion

Beschreibung
DESTROY THE WORLD! ...and everything that stands in your way (possibly yourself).

A highly volatile map where you REALLY need to watch not only your own aim, but also that of your team mates AND the zed. Because the whole place is littered with highly explosive elements that deal *massive* damage to players and zeds within their blast radius.

* * * MAP AUTHOR DISCLAIMER NOTE:
You may, for private use or to fit specific needs of a private server, partly edit this map such as, but not limited to; alter, add or move ammo spawns, weapon spawns, zed spawns, player spawns, trader pods, navigation nodes, triggers, volumes, kismet and other similiar minor tweaks without written consent from the Author (it is however greatly appreciated if you inform the Author of any changes you make).

You may NOT, without explicit written consent from the Author, edit major parts of the map's original design or functionality, such as, but not limited to; change map layout, add, remove or heavily modify rooms/locations, including lighting, materials, meshes and emiters. If you desire major modifications that will alter significant visual and gameplay aspects of the map, you MUST contact a map Author and reach a mutual agreement.

As hobbyist level designers, we put many hours of our free time into creating the maps that we supply freely for the community to enjoy. As such, we do not want to restrict how our work is put to use in a private environment, but our work contains a certain aspect of pride and accomplishment in the form of our unique personal design touches and ideas - we would like for those to not be lost in translation from having non-contributors edit our work to a degree where we feel that this personal 'touch' is hindered or lost.

Thank you :)

Seeing as it's ranked its going straight on my friendly fire server :) I love maps like this where player input effect things

@Umlimao
They can get a bit boring I agree

@G'waynir
Haha :D

@Sariaul
Yes mate, it is fully ranked. All my explosions are set up to use "legal" kismet events that don't derank the server :^)
Sariaul 8. Dez. 2016 um 21:27
is it ranked?

This map should have Mr. Torgue on it.

Static maps are one of the crappiest things on KF series, the locations makes no real difference where they are and what they are because there are nothing to interact with and take advantage of, its just a graphics set to look at, and to find a camping spot, lol.

ALSO... I'm already working on version 1.1 which will add even more destruction!

There will be more "non hurtful" things that now react to being shot (like beer boxes, trash bins and more) in addition to several new "volatile" exploding elements, such as bloat bile containers that spill bile when shot, malfcuntioning microwaves that electrocute enemies when detroyed, frost bombs (they sadly don't freeze, engine won't allow it) and more.

The zed spawn areas will also recieve a rework to add more visual detail.

In short, version 1.1 will introduce even more carnage!

@High Velocity Rapter
Thanks for the video man! I enjoyed watching that :freidk: Also how the hell do you free move the camera in the lobby!? I knew about the gap in the floor, but without camera movement it isn't visible so I didn't bother patching it (I will now though, haha)

@ OldSchool
;D

@Frostlink
Husks are a pain, but the Patriarch... is a whole new level of ass sucking!

@Topendslide
I think for the official maps they prefer mostly static maps where unforseen accidents can't happen. That's a lot less fun though, in my opinion ;)

@Bizzy
Cheers bud, I tend to create things that I like to play ;) And yes I do think this map is a first in terms of massive explosive elements. At least I haven't seen any similar ones yet.

@ topendslide:

Because Seanchaoz is a trendsetter and not a trend-follower, so he would be one of the first people to do this if not the first person to do so... *winks at Seanchaoz* :steamhappy:
