New Mode: The Mercenaries Reunion - No Mercy
By 風 竜 Syndeh
I always thought a No Mercy version for the Reunion stages could be fun, so here you go: The Mercenaries Reunion - No Mercy
Every stage has now a new No Mercy layout inspired by Reunion stages.
Too bad Capcom was lazy because if i could do this, Capcom could have done this way faster and better.

This mod is a collaboration with Maluc.
I created the new stage files (with the help of Maluc's and Sectus's XFS to XML converter) and he provides support for his new Patch fixes that let you play No Mercy mode Solo and Duo in The Mercenaries Reunion.

This is no official mode by Capcom so use it on your own risk (fun).

Additional mods shown in the Video are NOT included!

Download & Installation
The new mode is part of Malucs new Patch fixes.
http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=864823595

to install the mode extract the nativePC_MT folder with the new .exe files into your Resident Evil 5 install directory and override the old files.
(Be sure to always keep backups of your old files just in case)

The path is usually: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Resident Evil 5

This will not change any default files of the game, just add new necessary files for the No Mercy mode.

After that you just start the game as usual from your steam library and you will have now the No Mercy option in your menu.

To play Duo, host a normal Duo session and hit F1 (Both Player need the mod and the installed files to play properly)

⚠ Important: This feature is only available if your partner is in your Steam friendlist

4 Player Mercenaries/No Mercy is currently NOT supported because of the various disconnects caused by the buggy netcode of the game!

As far as i'm aware, a map on normal variant of mercenaries reunion has slightly faster spawnrate than the exact same map on original mercenaries (normal). But in normal match of mercenaries, that slightly faster spawnrate is barely noticeable because there's significantly smaller total enemy limit and thus, there's significantly less enemies on screen.

And since normal mercenaries reunion is slightly faster than normal OG mercenaries, that difference in spawnrate is way more impacting in no mercy gamemode, effectively making an overall experience way more chaotic than it normally is in OG mercenaries no mercy.

Please reconsider with slightly slower spawnrate, for its spawnrate to be more in-line with OG mercenaries no mercy.

Village and Ruins are an exception (also in regular Reunion) because of the Kipepeo enemies that can spawn out of Majini. They count as an additional enemy and depending on how "lucky" you are you get more or less enemies.
You can look for some High Score videos if it interest you that much.

And again there are barely more then 400 enemies in the files of the other stages.
If you don't beliefe me then feel free to take the arc tool and extract the spawn files and count the enemies in it.

And yes, you can encounter more than 410 enemies, which comes closer to 500-600 or slightly more if you get to spend around 10-11 minutes in a map such as "Village" after breaking all the time extensions. Granted, I did not counted enemies on my fingers or anything like that, but I can tell without counting, because there are still over a dozen of enemies EVEN when timer runs out at the end of a match, so it's definitely not just 410. I've got a chance to playtest all the maps in No Mercy Reunion mod of yours, so it seems like this problem is present in all ten maps. Meanwhile in capcom's No Mercy for original mercenaries, you can kill everyone before timer runs out.

That's right. Rick's "Resident Evil 5 Online Fixes" contains unchanged contents from latest version of maluc's RE5 fixes, with additional improvements from Rick. Maluc is fully aware that his patch in being used in somebody else's work and he is fine with his content being included into Rick's patch.

Rick said that he touched absolutely nothing at all, so all the content that is found on Rick's patch is identical to the one from Maluc's patch.

Which means that i'm using the very same version that is available in this thread, or in Maluc's patch thread.

@Sraigius
And i have nothing to do with Rick either.
My mod is part of Maluc's RE5 Fixes.
I gave no permission to anyone else to share my mod around.

If they changed something on my mod there is nothing i can do, but i definatly didn't make it that you have to deal with 800 enemies.
