Step 1.- Go to the floating island
Step 2.- Find an abandoned base
Step 3.- Find a crate and jump in it
Step 4.- Close the crate
Step 5.- Fly.
Step 6.- Open crate when you are done being awsome

As you can see, all I did was hop in a crate and close it. It can definetly throw you very high, and it will take a while to float back down, like the majestic creature you are. It might take a few tries, and the crate might fall in the ocean to never be retrieved again, and live out its sad crate-life alone, but thats all part of the fun.
