Disable weapon blood overlays

If you don't like the fact that blood splatters all over your arms and weapons, then here is how you turn that off.

Create an autoexec.cfg file or use the console.

Type: cl_mdldetailfx_enable 0

That’s it.

Either I’m not typing it correctly or something’s wrong with my computer but every time I pause the game and go to the console it keeps giving my an Unknown command do I have to exit to the main menu in order for it to work?

And if it is off by default you can enable it by cl_mdldetailfx_enable 1

they should make this optional in main menu settings. just check/uncheck mark thingy. :/

It actually gives me fps boost when i use this
because whenever a Bullsquid spits on me, my game lags for a sec.
