Where to Farm Any Legendary Equipments with Ease
By NoTears
Hello guys its Chrome (Chronemic is my old name) and today I'm going to talk about where to farm legendary weapons without getting it from the specific enemy in which you have to farm them over and over again (sweet isnt it?). This is easy and as straightforward as it is, I recommend getting legendary weapons on the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode difficulty. Please make sure to Rate, Favourite, Comment and share this to your friends, it will mean alot to me and it will (definitely) make me want to make more of these.

Before you start...
AS i said before, I suggest you getting Legendary Weapons on the Ultimate Vault Hunter mode because farming on normal mode does not follow your progression, and farming it on True Vault Hunter mode just waste your time (due to the fact you have to farm it AGAIN when you get to UVHM).

Please be prepared (especially in UVHM). Get your best gear with you before you start on this mission.

Types of Legendary Loot Midget
Before you start farming Legendary Loot Midgets, you must know all types of Legendary Loot midgets since all Legendary Loot Midgets don't look alike. These are the known Legendary Loot Midgets as I last played the game.

Types of Legendary Loot Midgets:

- Normal Loot midget (the combat engineer)
- Loot midget variant of a Hyperion Engineer
- Loot midget variant of a Jet Loader
- Loot midget variant of a War Loader
- Loot midget varian of a Gun Loader
- Jimmy Jenkins (very RARE loot midgets)

While the Legendary Loot Midgets looks small and not much of a threat, they do pack a punch and somewhat beefy, I suggest for those who hasnt gone against them or rarely go against them to keep their distances when attacking them.

By the time you are reading this, killing those midgets is easier nowadays with the amount of legendary weapons released in the latest DLC, but that doesnt mean you have to be careless, just make sure you are always on guard.

Note: All Hyperion Loaders starts with a "Wee" in-front of their name and its not possible to shoot of their arms or legs off like any normal loaders. Do not underestimate the Loot Midgets, they may look adorable but they're tougher than you think.
How Do I Farm The Legendary Midgets? Where Do I Go?
The place/area where you're going to head to is the "Wildlife Exploitation Preserve". This is the place where you'll farm for your legendary weapons.

Please do note you Must first:
- Finish the Main Quest/Mission "Wildlife Preservation" inorder to access this place, you are not able to access this place if the mission isnt done.
- You also have to go to Dr Tannis to accept the quest called "Doctors Orders" from Dr Tannis, this quest/mission is very crucial as it will increase the chances of the enemy spawning.
- For the second point, the mission from Dr Tannis can only be unlocked once you have done the first mission (check the first point).

Thanks to Bringoutyerded for this info (the first paragraph only)
Within the "Wildlife Exploitation Preserve" you must head Bloodwings Cell. Once you've reached the main building with the vending machines, there's a portal to the Creature Slaughter dome. If you have this DLC, it's a good idea to enter this area and then exit right away, thereby creating a save point in that area. By doing this you've just saved yourself a good few minutes.

REMINDER: DO NOT TAKE THE ECHO DEVICE ON ONE OF THE BOXES FOR THE MISSION, THIS WILL STOP THE SPAWN OF THE LOOT MIDGETS WHENEVER YOU GO BACK TO FARM THE BOXES AGAIN. SO WHATEVER YOU DO, DO NOT TAKE THE ECHO DEVICE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Once you're infront of Bloodwings Cell there should be a room on your right where there is a a room with a loot chest and 4 cardboard boxes on the floor (that's the place where you wanna go) and go inside. Once you're inside prepare to open the 4 cardboard boxes (I recommend you to open them one by one incase you get overwhelmed).

Once you've opened the boxes, a Legendary Loot Midget will pop out and start attacking you. Legendary Loot Midget will likely to drop ANY Legendary weapon and along with a Purple Relic which would come in handy in the long run. Do this to the other boxes and you should get another Random Legendary weapon and the purple relic.

Do note that the Legendary Loot Midget, while small they do pack a punch so do keep a distance after opening the boxes, this will not be a problem if you are well equipped for the hunt.

Once you get what you want, save and quit the game and repeat the same steps over and over again (And again, as long as you haven't finish the mission called "Doctors Order" and take one of the ECHO recorders from one of the boxes, the Legendary Loot midget will have a high chance to spawn).
Another way to Farm Legendary Loot Midgets, and Farming Chubby
This is another way to farm Legendary Midgets and farming another "Similar-Type" of Legendary midget know as Tubby :D. All Creds are Given to Irish Four leaf Clover for reminding this, please +rep his account

(First Paragraph only)

Brocks Modern Strife:
The mission you want to accept is Brock's Modern strife given by The Slab King (AKA Brick). Once you have accepted the mission you must go to thousand cuts where you'll meet Brick's friend called Rocko, goto him and talk to him for further info. After you talk to him, you'll be assign to protect 3 containers (if i remember it correctly) by the hyperion forces. Fend them from the containers that you're assigned to and you're lucky enough that Bricks men will help you during this mission. Once you've completed this mission DO NOT RETURN THE QUEST IN and save and quit. By doing this Thousand Cuts will be empty of enemies and would be easy for you to farm Legendary Loot Midgets, all you have to do is open any container (Ammo box, lockers, washing machine etc...) and they should have a chance to pop up.

Tubby And Chubby:
Chubby (know as Tubby in true vault hunter mode) are known to be one big "fat and annoying" insect and are similar to Legendary Loot Midget and can only be found in Ultimate vault hunter mode (or in True Vault Hunter Mode), Chubby and Tubby can be in a form of a Fat Spider, Skag or Varkid. They drop Any legendaries and pearclent. Other than that they have a high chance to drop Whiskey Tango Foxtrot (a Shield manufacture by Dahl) and Bunny (a Rawket Lawnchair manufacture by Teidore). The best place to farm them are at Caustic Carvern but to access this place you must finish the main mission called "Bright Lights, Flying City".

@SUPER-TANK the midgets should spawn for you, unless you did something the quest requires you to do or maybe you are unlucky, it should atleast spawn 1 midget for you. Perhaps try using another character and see if it has the same problem

Doctor's Orders mission doesn't work for some reason: I didn't take the echo recorder in the room and none of the boxes spawned a loot midget

@Jack Sparrow The mission Doctor Orders is important, without that mission, you cannot farm the loot midgets the normal way, read the guide again so that you know how to farm it

Why is doctors order so important and how do you farm it?

@Corktail, thats lucky of u getting the infinity in normal mode, and yes please dont do the same mistake when you're doing on true vault hunter mode xd (when u open the 4 boxes, dont take the Echo Device, so i recommend you to open them one by one, and whatever u do, dont turn in the mission or otherwise the midget wont spawn).
Corktail 30 Apr, 2018 @ 6:44am
im on normal mode, so it doesnt matter too much, i will try again on the next playthrough.
also i found an infinity while farming on Thousand Cuts
NoTears  [author] 30 Apr, 2018 @ 6:40am
@Corktail NOOO DD: , dont finish the "Doctors Order". If u did turned it in, the loot midget will has less chance to spawn (like literally very little, like 0,1%). I did the same mistake like you and the loot midget never spawned again.

i finished " Doctor's order" right before reading this guide. i guess i will be farming next playthrough
