How to get "Combo Master" achievement

To get this achievement, you need to get 50x combo or more. However when your combo gets high, it will disappear so quickly, so the achievment is so hard to get.
Here's a simple way to get the achievement when your weapons are good enough.

1. Equip your best weapons AGAINST AIR.
2. If you are NOT EXTREMELY good at avoiding, take ENERGY BURST as your Superweapon.
3. Equip your best "S" shield.
4. Start "Ghost City" in INSANE difficulty. Any mode is okay.
5. NEVER SHOOT before you can't avoid the bullets anymore and your shield is down. You can use your Superweapon to clear the screen without damaging the enemies.
6. The enemies will come back again and again, so there will be enough enemies on your screen before the first boss appears. Kill all the enemies as soon as possible, you can probably get this achievement.
7. If not, try again. I succeeded 3 times in 5 trials.

I tried this, attacking just as the first boss appeared, and only got 28 combo

@illykilly thanks for your comment, I didn't get it before I read your comment. I always used "Energy Burst" and continued waiting for more enemies. When there were so many of them my superweapon was not recharged and I had to kill them.

Using superweapon plus destroying them at the same time worked right away.

@illykilly, thanks for your comment to the OP's guide because I actually didn't understand what he meant in step 5.

The OP should rephrase it to something easier to understand, for example:

5. When the level begins, don't shoot at all - just keep dodging everything. Do NOT use your superweapon until step 6.

On my second attempt, I managed to get a 68x combo, so this achievement is actually very easy with the OP's guide.

The full achievement guide doesn't even offer this suggestion - it instead suggests using the nuclear bomb weapon, and the guide author even says he had a hard time getting Combo Master lol.

Of course "ENERGY BURST" has the additional effect as you pointed out. However, for a newbie (such as me), it's hard to keep alive until their're enough enemies in the map without using the superweapon.....

that worked out, but don't forget the fact that the superweapon "ENERGY BURST" gives you additional combo, so you have to wait until there are enough enemies and until your shield is down and than you use the superweapon and you shoot... then you get the 50+ achievement...
