This is what you do:
I find this fix on someone else post, but I dont see it again so I decide to post it so more people might be able to finish all 17 expert missions (Love 16 and 17, tons of exp, zeni and tp).

PS: This is only for offline mode, I only test the fix with offline so cant say anything about online.

1. Go to your option menu.

2. Go to your grahpic setting.

3. Change your resolution setting, you just have to switch all the resolution you have untill you find one that make the refresh rate (the one option below the resoltuion setting) to anything below 60 Hz. I have to change to 1280x768 with 59.81 Hz, it is werid looking but it works for me.

4. as long as you play in this resolution with the below 60 Hz setting during offline mode, everything should just be fine and you can knock back the big energy blast without any problems.

I can only change my refresh rate when it is in full screen mode, and that is what i did, so if you do it in other mode like window or bordless feel free to comment if it works as well.

Thank you and hope you can fix the problem like i did and unlock all 17 expert missions.

There is a semi fix for Some expert missions, all the ones xept for great ape ones aka giants if they take off, off the map you gotta get as close to them as possible and just simply let them lock onto u and they will charge towards u meaning u can kill em xD

changing the fps from 60 to 30 helped me complete the mission

Just to let ppl know, I couldn't find a resolution below 60 refresh rate, but I instead force-enabled Vsync in the Nvidia Control Panel and changed "Distance scaling" to "Ultra" (which always resets to "Medium" when I quit the game for some reason) and I finally was able to complete the Expert Mission 15 which I failed 20+ times before due to that bug. Coincidence? Hope this helps!
