It baffles me we’ve come this far with the updates, considering a mountain of Source SDK limitations, nonetheless, we got there in the end. I’d like to thank everyone involved in this marvelous process, and I’d like to thank the original map maker, Dave Brown, I’ve always admired City Eight and stand proud to have updated them to this extent. The update includes a complete redo of the rebel environment, much desired atmospheric improvements to the city, multiple changes to faction buildings, sewers and apartment complexes, bug fixes, lots of smaller adjustments and additions.

- Overhaul of District Nine, it is now outlands themed.
- City atmosphere improved:
*Darker alleyways.
*More city oriented skybox scenery.
*Trash and dirt spread about for a more filthy look to the streets.
*Adjusted lighting.
- Overhaul of the Civil Administration office.
- CP interrogation room
- Interior overhaul of apartment block one.
- Exterior and interior overhaul of slums apartment.
- Interior adjustments for all other apartments, including lighting adjustments and additional apartment rooms.
- Overhaul of Willard Industries labs.
- Redid CWU alleyway building, it is now a store and a supply/resting/office building.
- New vent from apartment block two, to the slums.
- New hiding spot in the sewers (maintenance vent room).
- Admin sound effect room.
- New rest room in the clinic.
- Extra room in the CP barracks.
- Added a few extra walls to create usable rooms, lighting changes and a secret door in the city sewers.
- Redid the skybox to suit the outlands
- Removed the sewer tunnel to district nine, replaced with a player teleport. District Nine is no longer a district within the city, but a part of the outlands some distance away.
- Redone JW logic, it will now loop until it is shut off. Accessed from the Civil Administration office. (Left button to switch on, right button to switch off).
- Removed nexus core, it was never used and kept on bugging out. CPs can now use the room for whatever purpose they want. Moved the buttons to a panel in the Civil Administration debate hall.
- Bug fixes (Yes, the CWU doors are fixed!).
- Optimization.

• Subscribe to the c8 content pack
  
• Make sure to have both ep1, ep2 and css properly mounted in Gmod
  
• Try verify the integrity of your gmod cache
  
• Alternatively temporarily unsubscribe from the content pack, locate your Gmod addon folder and delete any c8 content pack files. Once that is done re-subscribe to the content packs.
  
• Check for any conflicting duplicate addon folders
